What you’ll do

Visiting a new city is always exciting, but exploring the unfamiliar can sometimes seem daunting. But with one of our Brussels hosts by your side, you can leave your comfort zone in total comfort and get acquainted with Brussels, its food, culture, activities, and of course, its people!

You’ll explore a pocket of the city that’ll suit your vibe as you get closely acquainted with what the city has in store for you. Whatever you want the low-down on, your host is here to help.

You could visit a few sights, then relax with a Belgian brew and frites or a coffee and cinnamon bun and pick your host’s brain on the best place to visit, where to eat, and how to get around the city.

Who likes to feel like a tourist in a new city? We imagine that you don’t! Your host will gladly share their favorite hangouts, food spots, and hidden gems with you so that you’ll feel like a local in no time!

Experience outline

  • Choose your pace - a casual stroll or grand tour of the inner city of Brussels and its surrounds.
  • Visit some of Brussels iconic spots, neighborhoods and buildings
  • Take the experience at whatever pace suits you - a leisurely stroll pausing to sip a Belgian pint of beer, or squeezing in as much as possible
  • Get a taste of Brussels through an inspiring lens and acquaint yourself with the briefest of histories, some general city info, how to get around and where you should visit
  • Your host will reveal recommendations for things to do during the rest of your trip, and feel free to ask anything you’d love the inside scoop on!

    Andrea was great! He had a lot of stories to tell and lots of great knowledge on Brussels. I think the only thing we would have liked it to walk a little bit more. But other than that - he was wonderful! Highly recommend for the history buffs!

    Sebas was a great guide. We really learned a lot about Brussels (especially Grand Place) and having 3 hours was the right balance for walking and talking. We booked a private tour for 2 of us which I really enjoyed because Sebas was able to tailor the tour and answer a lot (!) of questions. Bonus was that because it happened to be pouring rain, Sebas was flexible on the time and suggested we start a bit later to wait for the rain to end which was super helpful.
