What you’ll do

In a city so centered around family, experiencing the Catalonian style of family living with one of our local Barcelona hosts joining you and your tribe will be an experience you’ll cherish. Barcelona is a city rich in culture, steeped in history, and pulsing with energy that radiates passion, and your host can’t wait to share that with you and your family.

Take in the diversity of the city as you embark on your very own 4-hour family adventure through the winding streets, the vibrant beaches, and striking hills. You could delve into the magical background of the Gothic Quarter, take in the inspiring sights of Parc Güell and the Sagrada Família or head off to a colorful market where the kids can run amok, uncovering hidden treasures and learning about local dishes that will have even the fussiest of eaters coming back for seconds.

While on the topic of food, Catalan cooking is always a hit with families. We suggest trying out churros - your kids will love this deep-fried doughy treat that is dipped into thick, hot chocolate - we just can’t be responsible for the subsequent churros addiction!

    Our family really enjoyed meeting with our host, Yana. We felt like we were meeting with a friend who wanted to us to experience the best of Barcelona. She was very kind and accommodating and taught us about various parts of the city. We learned so much from her and enjoyed getting to know her.     We enjoyed a relaxing walk through the gothic quarter and a local park with Karla. The experience was excellent, kids enjoyed it and took away some of the stress of visiting a city with kids. Karla made some excellent suggestions of things to do and places to go, including a marvellous tapas restaurant.
