You’ll follow your host as they lead you through the historic port city, soaking up the maritime spirit that infuses almost everything, from local food to the design of The Elbphilharmonie concert hall.
Amble through the town center or check out artsy districts on the foreshore (although most places in this maritime city are on the foreshore of some kind or other) and squeeze in some time to try some unique food - it’s less brätwurst and more franzbrötchen (a buttery, cinnamon pastry) here.
It will be your host’s pleasure to unlock the city for you so that you may continue to see it through an inspiring lens.

I used City Unscripted to take a tour of Hamburg, Germany. My guide was Ralf and he was great! He has a wealth of knowledge about Hamburg, and a great sense of humor so the 4 hour tour flew by. It is well worth doing and gave me a completely new view of Hamburg!

My guide Ralf was awesome. His knowledge of the history of Hamburg was amazing and he was great at answering questions and educating me about Hamburg. I feel like I had a Uni course! He has a great sense of humor and is quite engaging, which made the 4 hours fly by. boo this tour- it's well worth it.

Ralf, my tour guide, is extremely knowledgeable about the history and sites of Hamburg. Whatever your interests, he'll know exactly the right places to go and what see. He has a great sense of humor, which made a 4 hour walking tour fly by. He listens to your interests and weaves those into a tour rich in the history of Hamburg. Take the tour, and if you get Ralf, you are in for a brilliant time!

My guide Ralf was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. He also has a great sense of humor, which made the 4 hours fly by. He was very accommodating when I had specific requests but I would recommend you let Ralf determine the best tour for your interests. I learned more about Hamburg during those four hours than I could have learned in weeks, if that. I couldn't be happier with the tour. Book it! It's well worth it.
