Regene was a lovely tour guide who made our time in Hong Kong feel personal and meaningful. She took the time to learn about our interests and adjusted the experience so it fit us perfectly. We appreciated how knowledgeable she was about the city and its history, and how she shared local spots we wouldn’t have found on our own. Sapporo Private Tour: Highlights & Hidden Gems by a Local

Shiunn Tei is a great guide. She was on time, very personable, and spoke excellent English (and Japanese!). Shiunn accomodated our request to visit artisanal producers, we had a memorable experience at a traditional tea shop. The owner had a wide and deep knowledge of Japanese teas and importantly, showed us the how and why of brewing. The next step Shiunn shared the founding of Sapporo city and showed us sites (free!) you wouldn\'t normally find. We toured government buildings-sounds boring but it wasn\'t in her hands. There was a brief stop at a cafe decorated inside with dried flowers, very pretty and cozy. We then went to Maruyama park which contained a large, beautiful shrine. Shiunn pointed out a shop that made fresh pancakes with bean filling, a Japanese treat. It was a refreshing break! Next was the underground passage/shopping way that connects Sapporo Station, Odori Park, and Susukino. The walkways are a necessity in a city that receives ~16 feet of snow a year. It was an easy, and cooler way to walk with no street traffic. If you need retail therapy, this walk is for you! Loads of stores at the north end at Sapporo Station. Here is where we parted after 4 hours of touring, and we went on to enjoy a tempura and soba lunch. Thanks Shiunn, we had a memorable time.

Kobe Half Day Tour with a Local: 100% Personalized & Private

Our guide was a nice person but an ineffective guide. His command of English was not good. He was unassertive and didn’t seem to be sure of how to get to the places on our itinerary. In fact we seemed to go the wrong way a few times. He seemed to know quite little about the places on our itinerary and Kobe generally, or at least didn’t share this information with us. We had to keep asking him questions as he volunteered little, and he often didn’t seem to know the answers. This was an expensive few hours that was of poor value. Sorry to give a negative review, hopefully this will be fed back to him so that he can use it to improve for the future.

We joined a private tour of Singapore with our 10-year-old son, led by the excellent guide Priscilla. She took us through Chinatown, Little India, and the vibrant Kampong Glam area. Priscilla was warm, flexible, and attentive, making the whole experience easy and enjoyable. She has a fantastic way of engaging with children, which made the tour especially memorable for our son. Even when a sudden rain shower interrupted part of the tour, she quickly adapted the program and kept everything interesting and fun. We truly enjoyed the experience and warmly recommend Priscilla to anyone visiting Singapore.

Your Bologna, Your Way: A Personalized Half-Day

We booked the tour for 4h as a group of 4 people. Diego - our guide - did a great job in showing us some of the hidden places combined with historical and cultural highlights, background and several insights to the local food and cuisine. He answered our questions, recommended great places for drinks and dinner and was very flexibel with respects to our whishes and requests. In general, we had a wonderful time in a relaxed atmosphere with Diego and will look forward to another tour when we come back to Bologna.

Prague Highlights & Hidden Gems Private Tour by a Local

Martin was our tour guide and we had an evening tour. The tour was Old Town, up to the castle & cathedral with a stop for food & drink at the monastery. The weather was perfect for this tour and seeing Prague at night is beautiful. We did not get to go into the castle museum or cathedral however Martin provided a wealth of information and history. This tour was well worth it and I would do again. I would book through the companies website rather than Viator.

Such a lovely guide, Onofrio. He made our tour interesting, very easy and lots of fun. We liked him so much we booked another tour later that date.
