Our guide met us at the Gare du Nord and took us all over the city. Hristo knows the city like the back of his hand and has amazing insights into its history. I would highly recommend City Unscripted for any opportunity to get to know the real Paris.

We took a day trip to Paris from London on our Honeymoon. We met the guide at Gare du Nord. He took us all over the city. Hristo was able to answer all of our questions. He has a deep and rich knowledge of the city. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to have the trip of your life.

Hristo was extremely nice and patient with our group! We did the tour with 2 elderly and a 5 year old. I would definitely recommend this tour to our friends!

My guide Jill was wonderful. She set the pace and route of our tour exactly as I had hoped. Having a private tour allowed me to engage more and ask lots of questions. Jill answered them all with knowledge and generosity.

This guided walk was exactly what I wanted for my first trip to Paris. I didn't want a canned, "go here, take the selfie, and move to the next scene" tour. I wanted to explore as much as possible, gaining a physical understanding of the layout of the arrondissements. I wanted to learn history as we walked and viewed the many amazing landmarks, gardens, and architecture. Not only was it great fun, I now have the knowledge to explore more details next time I go back.

Viator is hit or miss and not always reliable, but their subcontract to City Unscripted worked out well this time. Roffy from "City Unscripted" was an excellent guide and spent six hours with my nephew and I showing us around Paris including some of the more well known land marks along with some hidden "surprises". There were several places we went to that would never have been on our list given this was our first time in Paris so in my opinion, this tour was worth every cent to get a local perspective and see some lesser known things. Having a guide with a set route and plan also made the day much more efficient and we were able to pack in a lot. Roffy was an excellent guide. She is very knowledgeable and was fun to hang out with and the time flew by! I would highly recommend this tour (especially for a first trip to Paris)!

My husband and I tour three countries. Paris was the only one that we got a private guide. It was a local. I wish we had done it on day one in the other countries. It was the best day we had overall by far! Roffy was amazing.

Pascal was a perfect host for guiding us on a wander of out-of-the-way Paris streets, just what we wanted. He made sure we stayed oriented so we could find our way back to spots we liked later, and gave lots of suggestions for further wanders.

Pascal was great! He listened carefully to what we wanted to see during our tour of Paris and accommodated our specific needs. It was very helpful that he started the tour at our hotel in central Paris. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant company. Thank you Pascal for a wonderful, brief overview of Paris. Couldn’t be happier with Pascal and our Paris walking tour. Pascal was amazing on communication in advance of our tour, asked if there was anything specific we wanted to prioritize and “must see”, wanting to make sure we didn’t miss what would be important to us. I had been to Paris before and was returning with my mom for her birthday. I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with Paris as I didn’t love it the first time. However, Pascal made me fall in love with his beautiful city! He made our day so special! My mom uses a mobility scooter and he went out of his way to accommodate her! He picked restaurants with places to charge her scooter, and made sure all our walking paths would work with her limitations! He had my mom laughing and smiling all day long: she wanted to bring him along the next day! Pascal really made our day in Paris so special!

We only had 4 hours with Del, but could have used an entire day! She was so knowledgeable and really worked to show us areas we would not have explored on our own. Turned us on to super awesome aps for exploring.

Excellent guide. Met us at hotel. Flexible schedule. Communicated with us weeks in advance via email to plan the areas in Paris we wanted to see. The morning could not have been better.

Del was a great guide. Very attentive and showed the best places that we would never have seen. Flexibility. Met us at our hotel and we went from there.

Had great time with Del. She was very kind and patient. We were late to our tour so, I totally expected we'd have to skip something to keep us on time, but she gracefully spent the extra time with us! This was a quick trip, so we'll plan to come back to Paris soon and do another tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed our walk through Montmartre with Clovis! He made it fun and interesting, with little tidbits about the artists who had lived there in the past. He also gave an excellent restaurant recommendation, where we had our dinner later.

It was almost as if he already knew that we didn't like crowds and really just wanted a slow paced journey through the area. My family (spouse, 14YO, & 11YO) eventually ran out of steam (aka kid's attention span :-) so Clovis showed us to a restaurant and reminded us to grab an eclair from the childhood bakery (unanimous, BEST EVER!). Fantastic family memory. Thank you Clovis!

This was a very helpful and valuable tour as this was our first trip to Paris and we only had 4 days in the city. We arrived in Paris at 9am from USA and had the tour booked at 2pm to kick off our visit. We booked a 3hour walking tour to give us an overview & layout of the city and get a better understanding of "getting around". Our guide was Clovis. Clovis was great. Clovis is a Parisian and definitely knows the city, a lot of history, cultural info, and was fun to be with. He also speaks great English and was very accommodating to what we wanted to see and do. Clovis met us at our Hotel (7 arrondissement) and we developed a 3 hour tour on the spot. Clovis also have a tutorial on the Metro so we were able to utilize the Metro for the rest of our trip. Overall, this was a great tour, a great value and a great start our trip to Paris. Thank you Clovis.

He was attentive to what I wanted to do and adapted to the environments adversity, which made the tour that much better. He always knew a lot of information which I found to be interesting. He also is a great conversationalist.

My wife and I had Elli Doukaridou as our guide for the "kick start" tour in Paris. Elli was punctual, professional and extremely knowledgeable of the history, architecture and many other aspects of Paris, which enriched our experience in ways that we wouldn't expect from a typical city guide. In addition, Elli was kind to accommodate our more basic needs to "function" in a city of the complexity of Paris. Also, we appreciated Elli's kindness, sensitivity and understanding of our physical needs, especially in accommodating my wife's limitations due to chronic disability. We feel lucky to have had Ellis as our guide and we would highly recommend her, especially for individuals who have a greater curiosity and may want to tap into Elli's knowledge of history, art and culture. One of my goals in staying in The Marais was to experience Jewish culture in the area. Elli did such a great job with this, weaving it into the larger history of the neighborhood and showing us places we would not have found on our own.

Elli was an amazing guide. She is friendly, thoughtful, and very charming and put our interests and pacing front and center. She has tremendous knowledge and insight. She really made the various sites that we saw come to life taking us into the past and moving into modern day. We definitely highly recommend her.

The guide was very knowledgeable and well-versed in the history of Paris and France. The tour was quite comprehensive and detailed. So glad we did this tour at the start of our stay in Paris. It laid the ground work for the rest of our tour.

Our tour guide Monty was excellent. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and made sure we hit all the highlights. We ended the day with an array of memorable photos.

Monty was very knowledgeable about all of Paris, and I was able to see all the major sights in one afternoon. He answered all of my silly questions, and he was very passionate about all the art and history of the city (also accommodated my sudden change in schedule).

We enjoyed our private tour of the Montmartre area with Monty. In my mind so often the guide makes the tour and this review is because of him. While we had other experiences we enjoyed as much or more in Paris, Monty’s patience, kindness, and knowledge were wonderful. He picked us up at our hotel and showed us how to navigate the Underground. We also made a stop by the Louvre to see the area (another tour booked the next day with a different guide) and then we headed to Montmartre. My wife loved the small shops and restaurants we checked out along the journey and we talked about culture, art and history throughout the walk. Monty was patient as my wife stopped to look and he took some really nice pictures of us along the way, as well as making a list of must-see things for our visit to the Louvre. I believe he would have excelled even more once in the museum because of his love for art history on a different tour of that type. He reminded us lovingly of the humble, but brilliant Nate from Ted Lasso. The walk up from Moulin Rouge to the Sacre-Coeur Basilica was steep and on stone and we loved it, but I could see where those with very young children or elderly adults might find that more difficult. For my wife, the shops and restaurants along the way, as well as the plaza were all fantastic. Our journey was in the late afternoon so we loved seeing the city lights once the sun went down with the view from the Basilica - which was amazing and a must-see as well modern beauty of a church. Well done Monty.

We really enjoyed the tour which Marie tailored to our requests. Using her knowledge of the area she gave us some great food options and also took the opportunity on our tour to show us various historical landmarks and explain their significance.

I never thought we could visit all the spots we visited in a 6 hour timeframe. Marie helped us use the metro for the first time, pressed on through rainy weather and had a smoke the entire time. Such a sweet personality and valuable asset to your tour team!

Two weeks and two great experiences with City Unscripted! The second was with Marie as we explored the Montmartre neighborhood in Paris. Marie also had a great personality and was knowledgeable on the area.

Ewan was very easy going. With so much to see in only four hours he never felt like he was rushing us. He was obviously very knowledgeable about the city and imparted that knowledge in a relaxing, non-intimidating manner. It felt like you were strolling with a friend through their neighborhood.

Ewan was a great guide, we clicked pretty well. our itinerary was open and wanted to see the main sites however my father is elderly and my sister is disable so we moved relatively slow until they had had enough. He's an interesting and personable guy and I'd highly recommend.

We had a intro to Paris walk w Ewan. He kindly waited for us when it took us longer than expected to arrive due to re rioting of traffic for upcoming Olympic Games. It was a nice walk and way to start out trip Honiara looking and learning things at many of the sights starting Place de la Concorde then through a bit of St Germaine ,Latin quarter and finish near Ile de le Cite.

Paul was amazing, he made our experience magical. Covered more than we expected with all that we wanted to see in the short about of time. Made it even better with being able to communicate with him. He spoke very good English. Looking forward to our next visit.

The walking tour was the perfect first thing to do in Paris and Beatriz was an excellent guide! She gave her knowledge freely and was very in tune with what we needed. She went above and beyond and even guided us to a great spot for drinks after our tour had ended

The neighbourhood of La Marais is absolutely charming and Beatriz has been an awesome tour guide. You get to talk to the company and tell them your interests so they pair you up with the most suitable guide. And Beatriz was the best! Amazing food, interesting conversations and a lovely afternoon spent in Paris.

We had a very pleasant experience with Sofia and would recommend her as a guide to see the wonders of Paris during the Christmas season.

We took this tour hoping to see a different side of Paris. Luckily we got Sofia Marques as our tour guide and that was the best kick-off we could think of to start this trip. Sofia is welcoming, kind, knowledgeable and very friendly. My husband and I loved every minute of the tour. She made great recommendations for the following days. I hope if that if you book this tour, you get Sofia as your guide! She is the best!

We were a family of four - two boys and my wife and I. Sofia managed to hold all of our attentions. Great tour, was able to explain key landmarks and events at both a high enough level but with great color and detail. The tour ended at a surprise and unforgettable spot - will definitely be a highlight of our trip.
