Very nice tour with knowledgeable guide. The area is beautiful with interesting history and a couple of street food experiences thrown in. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Roberto, our guide is very passionate about sharing his knowledge of Mexico City old and new. Roberto as well as being friendly and engaging is well educated in archeology, anthropology and the history of Mexico. He knows the major sights to see and experience along with the hidden gems. Roberto was an outstanding guide - very knowledgeable, flexible, kind, and engaging. He quickly understood the type of tour we wanted and customized everything to fit our goals (there was a strong taco emphasis throughout). He was great with our teenage kids too.

Wow! Ernesto took us to the most beautiful parts of Mexico City and gave us a very thorough overview of the history and culture. He customized the tour to just what we wanted to see and do and honestly made us fall in love with the city. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Mexico City but also shared his many personal experiences and perspectives about the culture which really added another layer of our tour. Make sure you ask for Ernesto because he was truly the perfect guide!

This was exactly what I’d asked for: a real tour of Mexico City where I wouldn’t see other tourists. This tour delivered. Our guide was brilliant, bringing her background as an architect to help explain the rich and complex nature of Mexico City. The discussion with her was truly wonderful and insightful.

Ernesto welcomed us to Mexico City by email a couple of weeks before the tour. He confirmed our request to meet him at our hotel and notified us of being a few minutes late because of traffic. Friendly and very knowledgeable, he thoroughly answered all our questions while walking us from one neighborhood to the next. We covered a lot of ground in five hours, including learning much about the politics and history of Mexico. We enjoyed a lunch of tacos and guacamole with him, managed to complete a couple of small purchases of necessities that would have been more complicated without him. We saw a lot, ended up far from our hotel, but he helped us get an Uber back at the end of the tour. He was super and we highly recommend him.

Ernesto is very personable, was attentive, confirmed our pickup a day before and let us know he’d be a little late. He answered all our questions with good explanations all the while moving us from one neighborhood to the next. He was very helpful getting us a way back to our hotel after our five hour tour. We enjoyed spending time with him.

Lando was such a great tour guide. He was friendly, outgoing and catered to our needs and kids. We learned so much, and really got to see a side of the city we wouldn’t have otherwise. Lando was fun, and he took amazing pictures of our family throughout the tour!!

Oskar is a very knowledgeable and likable guide. He took us all over downtown, showing us architectural points, explaining the history ofAztec ruins, guiding us through the cathedral and other cultural spaces. We got a great introduction to the current culture, and went to two of his favorite taquerias. We could not have done any of this on our own. Fabulous!

Nicolas is a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. I took a two-hour tour and, although I'm not a fan of architectural styles, I enjoyed connecting the historical dots. He provided insights not only about the two neighborhoods but also about the Mexica and Spanish conquests.

Nic made us feel right at home and shared his excellent knowledge of the history and origins of Mexico City or what we now know is the center of the universe.

Nic showed us everything we asked for and then some. Our expectations have been exceeded. We are spending relatively short amount of time in Mexico City and he showed us some sights of the beaten path in addition to several major attractions. Both my wife and I really enjoyed the experience.

Spent a beautiful morning exploring Roma and Condesa with Claudia - it felt like I was with a friend! She knew the area well and took me to see a couple of hidden gems I’d have otherwise missed. I’d definitely recommend booking her tour!

She's excellent. She is very knowledgeable, friendly and clearly loves her city. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Claudia. The local tour with a guide was the highlight of my business trip! My second visit to Mexico City was for a conference and I def needed a break from the hotel. My first time hiring a private guide was definitely worth the experience! Isaac took me to some hidden gems that I would never have seen wandering on my own. He knew my interest was in architecture, history and food -- but not in that order!! Highlights were an amazing lunch in Roma North and a wander through the Condesa neighborhood! If I had a dog and could work remotely from there I would!

My wife and I had a great tour with Isaac! It was our first time in Mexico City and we wanted to learn about the local neighborhoods and also eat great tacos. I loved getting to know Mexico City from a local like Isaac, who is incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and food scene. Isaac was kind and very informative during our tour. He met us at our lodging and took us to some of the best taco spots in the area (some of which we ended up going back to even after our tour was over). It was a great experience overall and I highly recommend taking this tour, especially with Isaac as a tour guide!

For our first visit to Mexico City, we were looking for a walking tour to give us an orientation to the city on our first day. Nico was our tour guide and he delivered! He met us near our hotel in Reforma and we explored the Centro Historica. He is super positive, friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed spending the day with him and learned so much in a short period of time. He gave us just the right amount of information about history and culture without overwhelming us as he showed us around so many key sights and took us to a few locals places to grab a snack and lunch. Highly recommend! Suggest 4-5 hours as there is a lot to cover so you can go at a relaxed pace and have time to stop for a snack and grab a bite to eat.

We did a tour with Nicolas on Saturday, 10/12, and from the moment we booked, his incredible hospitality and fun energy shone through. He connected with us on WhatsApp and instantly made us feel like we had a friend in Mexico City. The tour started at 8 am in Roma Norte, and Nicolas expertly guided us through the city at a comfortable pace, offering great commentary and plenty of laughs along the way. He took us to his favorite coffee and lunch spots, shared fascinating insights about the area, and even provided helpful tips before and after the tour to ensure we made the most of our time in CDMX. My girlfriend and I are so grateful for the memorable experience, and we can't recommend Nicolas enough. We will absolutely book with him again when we return to Mexico City. He's truly the best Colombian tour guide in Mexico :D !

Ingrid took us to the centre where we visited the Zocalo Plaza, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Templo Mayor. She also showed us to the former school with many Diego Rivera murals, the Beaux Artes Museum and a marketplace of only authentic Mexican crafts. She also took us on the Metro and explained how to navigate it. Now we will be confident when we return to see everything in more depth.

Ingrid was an amazing tour guide. She met us at Our Airbnb and tailored our tour to us. I was a bit nervous being in such a big city. Ingrid made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. She went above and beyond to make sure we saw as much as possible And gave valuable information about the different sites we were seeing. This was a perfect start to our trip. I feel much more informed and truly appreciate how lovely this city is.

We felt very comfortable once we made the reservation that City Unscripted was the right choice. Their customer service was incredibly responsive and caring. They give the impression that they love helping tourists explore a city on their terms. We will definitely check if City Unscripted offers tours whenever we travel.

Yara went above and beyond to make this experience unforgettable. Her knowledge of the city’s history, culture, and hidden gems was not only extensive but also truly enlightening and captivating. Beyond her expertise, Yara is incredibly kind, considerate, and personable. She made sure I felt comfortable and engaged, tailoring the experience to my interests and needs. It felt less like a tour and more like exploring the city with a friend who genuinely cares about sharing its beauty and richness. I would take another tour with her in a heartbeat! Yaravi was very nice, and very flexible planning the activities on our tour. We mixed in some historical museums with cultural arts, churches, and Chinatown for lunch.

My city walking tour focused on these 3 areas of Mexico City: La Condesa, Roma and Jaurez. I absolutely loved this experience as it was fantastic. Yara was my guide as she was informative, listened to what I was interested in seeing most, provided historical facts and was just a great person! If your looking for an all around great guide, do yourself a favor and request Yara as you won't be disappointed. Muchas gracias Yara!!
