Ready for an unforgettable day in Barcelona? Get set to explore this vibrant city with a local host who knows all the best spots and hidden gems. From a delightful breakfast at a quirky café to wandering through lush parks and bustling markets, this experience is packed with some of my absolute favorite spots in Barcelona. Let's dive into the heart of Barcelona and make some incredible memories together!
Kickstart your Barcelona adventure at Billy Brunch and Park, a quirky hotspot known for its mouth-watering breakfasts and brunches. Picture yourself tucking into a hearty meal, washed down with your favorite drink, while your local host fills you in on the secrets of local cuisine and the best food spots in town. This place has something to tickle everyone's taste buds.
With your belly happy and full, head over to the stunning Ciutadella Park. This green haven is the perfect escape from the city buzz, offering plenty of spots to relax and explore. Jump into a rowing boat on the serene lake or wander through the lush greenhouse filled with vibrant plants. Don’t miss the enchanting Cascada Monumental, a hidden gem designed by a young Antoni Gaudí. Marvel at the intricate hydraulics and water tank, ingeniously crafted by the visionary architect. Inspired by Rome's Trevi Fountain, the cascading waters are adorned with mythological elements, creating a truly magical spectacle.
Next, dive into the cozy charm of Elsa y Fred, a hidden gem in the Old Town district of Born. This restaurant transports you to 1950s Europe with its warm ambiance and classic decor. Admire the wall adorned with a famous quote from the iconic film "Elsa and Fred," capturing the restaurant's romantic essence. Indulge in a delightful lunch, whether you prefer traditional tapas or innovative cuisine. It's one of my favorite spots in Barcelona for a truly memorable experience.
Your adventure then leads you to the bustling Mercat de la Boqueria, a vibrant market right in the heart of Barcelona. Stroll through the lively aisles filled with colorful stalls offering fresh produce, gourmet meats, cheeses, and more. The market is a melting pot of local culture, where you'll see Barcelonians shopping side by side with curious tourists. Your host will guide you to the best spots, making sure you don't miss any hidden treasures.
Throughout the day, your local host will share fascinating stories and insider tips, turning every corner into a discovery. Get ready for a fun-filled, unforgettable journey through the best of Barcelona! And remember to tell me how it went.

Anna was a delightful and knowledgeable guide who brought Barcelona’s history to life. Even the rain couldn’t dampen her energy or the quality of the tour—highly recommended!
Show moreIt’s a great overview of all the highlights in 6 hours. Paul is an excellent guide- so knowledgeable and passionate about all the sights in Barcelona. He’s a wealth of information that made the sights more meaningful. We topped it off with a wonderful lunch and conversation. It was a great day . Thank you Paul!
Show morePau was incredibly knowledgable and friendly. We covered so much in 2 hours. We appreciated that Pau met us at our hotel with very little notice after something came up with our original guide.
Show moreAnna was flexible and full of information!
Show moreWe had a great time exploring the city and seeing lots of great things! Stopped for a great lunch and loved all the history she shared. Overall a wonderful experience!
Show moreWe were a little apprehensive about doing this as it is Unscripted (as the the tour suggests), but it ended up being planned out exactly to our tastes. Our guide took us around the El Born area, starting at the market with drinks and croquettes along with other foods to satisfy our Foodie tastes. We walked around El Born learning about the area, the culture and the traditions. We stopped at the original place for Los Pescatidos. We had Catalan dessert and Cava. I was quite impressed with this experience, especially not knowing what we were going to do and see. Would do it again.
