Here, you’re never too far from your next plate of chili crab scramble, beetroot, and cheddar waffles with grilled salmon and avo, or the king of brunches - eggs benny. You’ll stroll through the area and settle on a cafe you like the look of, and hey, if there’s a queue, it just means you’ll have to sip a mimosa while you wait.
Take your pick from unassuming-looking spots where you can try global fare - maybe you’re in the mood for Thai? - or let your host take you to an Antipodean (aka an achingly trendy, coffee obsessed, in-house-bakery featuring) cafe - this sounds like a typical Aussie brunch spot to us.

This is a great way to discover the Melbourne brunch scene! I was travelling solo so it's nice to meet a local who could tell me about food and culture in Melbourne. I am a massive foodie and got to try some of the best food in Melbourne and also learned about the city and what is that the locals love about it. I really enjoyed this experience!

It was a fascinating tour guided by Rhonda, with excellent knowledge of the city and its anecdotes, we immersed ourselves with her help in the local culture, traditions and daily life, it was more than a sightseeing tour, it was a trip with a friend who showed us the best of her city and Australian traditions, highly recommended.
