What you’ll do

The kind citizens of Sydney obviously had you in mind while developing their beautiful, sunshine-filled metropolis - why else does this great city offer everything you could possibly wish for on a family vacation?

Begin your day at Circular Quay in the heart of Darling Harbor, where you can tick off sights like the Opera House, Sydney Harbor Bridge, and the Royal Botanic Gardens. Or, if you prefer, the aquarium and wildlife park are also accessible here too!

Taronga Zoo is where you’ll meet the mellow marsupials or if you’re a bunch of thrill-seekers - head to Luna Park! This amusement park will settle the age-old score of who’s braver, the parents or the kids?

Sydney is, at its heart, a beach ‘town’ gone bonkers. Head to Manly, Bondi, or Bronte for a relaxing afternoon by the sea, where the little ones can get involved with a surfing lesson if they want to.

Catch some Australian rays, and chat with your local Sydney host about more child-friendly spots to enjoy in and around the city. We haven’t forgotten to feed you, and your host will happily stop off at any point so you and the tribe can fill the tank.

Maybe you’d like to visit a farmers’ market where you’ll find a variety of fresh, locally sourced produce that’s in season and good for your little snappers!

This was a wonderfully way to start our first visit to Sydney. We learned, laughed, walked, ferry’d, at a relaxing yet efficient pace. John was lovely and toured at a relaxed pace. Got to learn the lay of the wonderful land in preparation for an incredible stay in the greatest city.

The best part about the tour is we could customize it. Also, our guide Peter stayed with us for an extra hour in order for us to see everything we wanted to!

Ania was an amazing guide. She showed us the touristically interesting but also very fun places. We would definitely go with her again!

Ania is a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide with a lot of interesting and fun facts to share. She paid attention when we had questions and led us right to places that we didn’t know before but absolutely loved!
