What you’ll do

European elegance meets Canadian charm in the Quebecois metropolis of Montreal. In this French-infused city with sights spanning centuries, you couldn’t possibly see it all in a single day – but, from centuries-old stone facades to modern marvels, your local host will help you discover Montreal’s je ne sais quoi at 10 unmissable attractions. You’ll stop and admire the old port used by 17th-century French fur traders and the breathtaking Notre-Dame Basilica (nope, you’re still not in France!) as you make your way between famous neighborhoods like Little Italy and Mile End. Tick more off your bucket list at local hangouts like Jean-Talon Market and Librairie Drawn & Quarterly – a tucked-away comic store filled with local literary treasures.
