You could stroll through the 900 acres of Englisher Garten running through the very heart of the city or visit one of the many playgrounds.
If you want to throw in a bit of history, explore a museum like the Deutsches Museum which has over 1000 interactive exhibits for your kids to enjoy. And nothing beats a snack (or two, or three). We’d recommend a giant pretzel, perhaps in the leafy surrounds of a biergarten - beer for you, pretzels for the kids (and big kids!). Apple strudel is never a bad idea either…

Danielle was absolutely amazing. My husband and I had our 2 year old daughter with us and she was unbelievably understanding with her and took it at our pace. She was able to navigate through the city while providing us so much knowledge even with all of the pit stops for our daughter. Amazing experience all around and 100% recommend her.

Our guide Jeff was very well versed in the history of the city. He had pictures that depicted the total destruction making the comparison to the present come alive. He took us to the Rathaus-Glockenspiel at the precise time to observe the mechanics in motion and accompanied with the lore behind it. Placed suggested for lunch was very good and authentic.

We had a wonderful time in Munich with Franz! We had a mixed group of middle age, elderly and young children, and he did a great job. He brought us all around old town Munich, showing us buildings and churches, we likely would not have seen on our own. He also took us to specific places we suggested like Olympia Park and the English Gardens. He offered us insight and advice and was very nice to be around. It was a great start to our stay in Munch. The walking tour with Anna felt like catching up with an old friend in their city. She tailored the tour to include hidden streets lined with local designers and antique stores. We had coffee and an unforgettable pistachio cinnamon bun, and walked through the English garden ending up at the Haust de Kunst. I would strongly recommend a solo tour with Anna, whose knowledge and insights about Munich unravel in a beautiful story of history, culture and place.
