We’d all look pretty silly if we promised that you could get around all of Munich’s must-see spots in a day, but we reckon we can make a good go of it. You’ll join one of our local Munich hosts to explore the dreamy capital of Bavaria, seeing as many of its famous attractions as you can, and finding some time to experience a bit of local livin’ too.
Can you see yourself exploring sites like the English Garden, Marienplatz, and the Neo-Gothic Neues Rathaus before things get really local and you spend a few hours in a biergarten? We can. And there’s always time for good food, especially when it comes to hearty Bavarian feasting - although you may be surprised to learn it’s not all veal sausages and pretzels (although we do recommend you try these), there are delicate eight layered chocolate cakes to try too.

Our time spent with Naveen was fantastic. Without speaking it he was able to read how we were feeling and pivot the tour in directions that we were not expecting. Also his true care for us and wanting to make sure we had the best experience we can have. Also following up before and after to help us navigate Munich and going well above and beyond. I could not speak highly enough and recommend a guide better.

Franz was fantastic. He was able to cater the Munich walking tour to our desired wishes of a mix of historical churches and World War II sites. He introduced us to several Munich dining treats that we would not likely have eaten otherwise. He also went out of his way to get us a coveted same day dinner reservation in Munich during the height of Christmas market season (which was even more appreciated when we saw the line extending well out into the street when we showed up at our dining time). Will search him out again on future trips to Bavaria.

Our original person became I’ll and Jeff was thrown our way. I am so glad it worked out that way. He was fabulous. He told us all the history and showed us local things that made us feel a part of his neighborhood. He knew so many local people it was like being with a friend instead of a guide. Jeff is a warm person and makes sure you see Munich the way you want to. I would highly recommend asking for Jeff when you come to visit. He will make your day absolutely memorable.
