Our guide, Balazs, was absolutely amazing! If I could rate this even higher than a ten, I would rate it a 20++++. He met us in the lobby of our hotel and we began our tour of Budapest. Personalization was perfect. We wanted our tour to include information about local culture and he delivered. When we ask ourselves "what are the best parts of our river cruise through Hungary, Austria and Germany" this personalized tour of Budapest always comes in at #1

We had an amazing day with our guide, Lorinc! His knowledge of Hungary is incredibly deep and rich. Also, his perspective of history and current geopolitical factors was refreshing as it was well informed and academic with a global view. Believe his studies abroad in addition to his Hungarian education contribute to this worldly view. He is patient, kind and wise beyond his years. We had an incredible day and learned so much more than expected!

Hello! We had to reschedule due to illness of our original guide and we are so happy to have spent the day with Lorinc! His knowledge of Hungary is incredibly deep and rich. Also, his perspective of history and current geopolitical factors was refreshing as it was well informed, academic with a global view and no bitterness or prejudice emotions. I believe his studies both in India and Japan in addition to his Hungarian education contribute to this more worldly view. We have taken many private tours and many of the local guides cannot help themselves from sharing their views, opinions and frustrations. Not the case with Lorinc! He is patient, kind and wise beyond his years. Thank you very much for matching us with Lorinc, we had an incredible day and learned so much more than expected!

Krisztian was absolutely amazing! Not only did he show us around Budapest, he shared his personal experiences growing up under Soviet rule in the 1980s and took us to little known locations for awesome photo opportunities. He taught us how to navigate the public transportation system, toured us through some beautiful buildings that we would not have seen on our own and gave us a wonderful history lesson about Budapest. He was so personable, engaging and friendly - a true joy to spend time with. If you are in Budapest, I highly recommend booking some time with Krisztian through City Unscripted - you will not be disappointed!
