He was knowledgeable in History and navigating the streets, letting us try local coffee and sandwich places — not your usual tourist destinations which we appreciated. He also moved according to our pace and readily adjusted if we wanted to try to do other things.

A father and 3 young daughters required a slightly more unorthodox approach to a day out in Milan. From ice skating in the park, beautiful villa gardens, best pizza and gelato in town and completed with a return to the hotel on one of the city’s iconic trams - a wonderful day all round. Big thanks to Marco for hosting us and sharing his knowledge of this wonderful city.

Sonia was personally delightful and professionally knowledgeable about Milan. She took us off the beaten path to places without the heavy tourist traffic around the Duomo! We saw neighborhood streets... the Liberty architecture... a hidden garden with flamingos... She helped us find exactly what we wanted from food to fabric. We spent a fantastic day getting a feel for "a local's highlights of Milan" with Sonia as our guide!
