Sapporo’s famous beer, izakaya hopping and well deserved ramen as you weave your way home.
Here’s everything you need to know before your day unfolds.
Discover Sapporo at night, where there’s something for every type of night owl. Maybe you’re looking for a revelrous few hours of partying and pachinko parlors (a cross between pinball and slot machines) in nightlife hub Susukino, Sapporo’s own “Little Tokyo”, or perhaps slurping up Hokkaido ramen in a tiny noodle bar, watching the world go by, is more your scene. You could drink draft beers and crunch through zangi chicken at your host’s favorite izakaya, see lit-up art installations at Moerenuma Park after dark, or head to the famous Mt. Moiwa Ropeway for a viewpoint that’s officially been listed as one of the best night scenes in Japan (when you see the millions of twinkling lights for yourself, you’ll know why.) What do you choose?

Had a blast touring Sapporo with Zarina! She showed us some of the structures in the city center and told us places to shop, took us to Shiroi Kobito Park (very very nice place where she treated us for hot choco), and we had the best soup curry at Picante then dropped us off at the tv tower. just be reminded that food and train tickets are not included in this tour so you need to pay for your guide. also dinner would take up time from the 4- hour tour so maybe you can skip that . but of course tour can be customized to your liking

Show moreI had the honor and thrill to go eating with the local power lifting legend himself Ryuki. The man is a true gentle giant who knows the area well as he grew up here. Another bonus was he drove us around to locations I would never find myself. Food was great. Conversation and history of area was great. And he was an interesting man to talk to as well. Def eat the cow tonight !
Show moreAkihiro was a wonderful host and was able to change restaurants when we decided we wanted to sit at a table rather than at the Ramen bar. He spent a lot of time making sure we enjoyed ourselves. We were happy to spend our first day with him in Sapporo - it made it a lot easier for us to know our way around. He also helped us understand our food options in Japan which is also very helpful since we have 2 more weeks to go....
Show moreRyuki was the best tour guide! In Otaru, we visited glass shops from local artists and a shop of music boxes made in Japan. We also stopped at the Olympic Museum in Sapporo. Thank you Ryuki!
Show moreThe tour was a great overview of the city. Emilio was a charm to spend a few hours with exploring the city and learning about culture and history.
