Fall in love with Tokyo just as much as we have with our carefully curated experience created to deliver all the ‘must-visit’ spots in Tokyo!
Here’s everything you need to know before your day unfolds.
Ready to jump into the electric pulse of Tokyo with an experience that's as quirky as it is captivating? Crafted with love by a couple who fell head over heels for this city, each stop on this journey is packed with our personal favorites and plenty of insider tips. So grab your most comfortable outfit and get ready for an adventure that mixes ancient charm with futuristic dazzle, all brought to life by your fantastic host!
Your day begins at Nakamise-dori Street, an energetic marketplace that buzzes with life and the perfect spot for a snack sprint. You’ve got to try the mochi—it’s like a sweet hug for your taste buds! And if you're anything like us, the matcha ice cream will have you grinning from ear to ear. It's not just ice cream; it's a frosty match made in heaven. Your host can show you around to all the best local treats so you don't miss a thing.
As you weave through the crowd, the majestic Sensō-ji Temple awaits. Dipping your hands in the purifying fountain here is refreshingly serene—just the splash of calm you need! And for a little sip of tradition, the nearby tea shop offers free green tea. It’s subtle, it’s delicious, and it’s on the house—what’s not to love?
The next stop is quite the contrast and the journey there is sure to be an experience all of its own.
You’ll soon be plunging into the neon-soaked streets of Akihabara Electric Town. For gamers and gadget lovers, this place is like Disneyland. Don’t miss out on the retro arcade games at Gigo Arcade. We once had an epic Pac-Man face-off there, and let’s just say, it’s still a touchy subject! Need a snack break? Hit up a Conbini for a quick bite—those salmon onigiri are a life-changer. This location is a great place to learn about the importance of tech to this city, in particular gaming. We suggest learning whilst playing, its the best way.
Not too far away you’ll be bracing yourself for the whirlwind of Shibuya Scramble Crossing. It’s a people-watcher’s paradise and possibly the best spot for a selfie that screams, "I conquered Tokyo!". Look out for people walking backwards, taking time lapses and filming themselves crossing. You have to see it to believe it and we guarantee you’ll be joining them. It's infectious.
Just a hop, skip, and a jump away is Shibuya Sky, where the city spreads out beneath you in all its sprawling glory. Watching the sunset from here is honestly like watching the city put on a light show just for you. Or just enjoy a coffee break, always something to see in the views or the goings on at scramble crossing.
A hop through the quirky aisles of MEGA Don Quijote is next. It's the ultimate treasure hunt—especially for snack enthusiasts. There are some weird and wonderful products that make excellent souvenirs. Our highlight though was hunting for those unique Kit Kat flavors, it became our mini-obsession. Pro tip: The sake flavor is unexpectedly awesome!
And just when you think your taste buds couldn’t be any happier, we want you to end your day at Oreryu Shio Ramen. The ‘Special Garlic Butter Cheese Ramen’ here is a bold move but trust us, it’s outrageously good. It’s our go-to comfort food, and we bet it’ll be yours too after the first slurp. There is so much good food here, we suggest you share some to sample the best. Your host will leave you here where you could enjoy a meal and reflect on an amazing experience.
Every twist and turn of this experience has been carefully chosen to give you a taste of Tokyo through our eyes. Your host will make sure every moment is filled with fun, food, and lots of laughs. Get ready to fall in love with Tokyo, one incredible stop at a time!

Alberto met us at our hotel and walked us around, showing us cool places and making our day super special! He showed us "hidden gems" and was lovely to engage with. He went out of his way to find my husband the baseball shops and was very attentive to our interests. He was a "hidden gem"!
