Mari was fantastic! The first time we went to Akihabara we did it on our own, and it was beyond overwhelming. Going around this time with Mari made us fall in love with the place, and we realised just how much was there and that we had missed due to the sheer enormity of back streets etc. She did such a good job that we returned several times during our stay in Tokyo to re-visit the second-hand stores, Super Potato, Radio City, and the games arcades. We cannot recommend this experience enough (and she even got us to go to a Maid Cafe - somewhere we would have never gone on our own, but that is definitely worth the experience).

“I highly, highly recommend taking this totally unique and fascinating tour with Mari Shibuya. I went yesterday and it was an UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE. She is kind, funny, engaging and totally personalized the tour to what I wanted (even changing at the last minute). Moreover, she really goes above and beyond what a normal tour operator will do to ensure that you are happy and well taken care of (she even took me back all the way to my hotel because I couldn't navigate the Shinjuku train station). I cannot recommend Mari highly enough! Thank you so much, Mari! I will never forget you and our fun times yesterday :)”
