Cici is an outstanding Kyoto guide for English-speaking visitors to the historic city. She picked us up at our designated starting point and we headed off on our adventure. She helped us navigate Kyoto\'s public transportation to get to all our destinations. She had a plan for us on the sights to see, but we asked about a few others that we wanted to add and she quickly put together an itinerary that worked great. She\'s a really friendly, pleasant person to spend time with and I could not recommend her more highly. She really helped make our trip to Kyoto special.

Kyoto was incredible, and having Nisa as our guide made the day even more special! She knew all the best spots and shared so much about the history and culture that it really brought the city to life. On my first day in Tokyo I was especially interested in markets, food and shrines. Thanks to Chiara, we did all three. She is extremely knowledgeable about Japanese food, and happy to explain ingredients, flavors, and customs. We did a lot of walking -- which was great -- and we navigated the complex but efficient Tokyo subway system. In all, a perfect first day in a magnificent city.

Zarina showed us parts of Sapporo you won't easily find in guide books. She has insights on both what someone new to the city can find helpful as well as years of experience living in Sapporo. The tour was adapted to our needs at the time as well as current weather conditions. Would like to do another tour with Zarina to take in some of the sights we missed due to time and weather constraints. Thoroughly enjoyable time with an enthusiastic, intelligent and knowledgeable guide.

Maria took us to places that we never thought we would see. Few are local hang out. She gave us time to explore places, no rush. Took a break when needed. We really enjoy time with her. Friendly and outgoing. This is our second time in Japan, much better than the first. Will recommend her to friends who plan to visit Osaka. Thank you so much for chosen Maria for us.

Had a lot of fun walking around. Saw the park and some good food. And then we went to an island which was super not a tourist destination and it was great. I’d never have known to go there on my own. We got Bikes and rode around this really small town there. Wouldn’t have gotten to do that any other way

I went to Miyajima on a Monday. I wish we had more time but nonetheless, Yuka was able to show me a lot of places and I learned a lot from her. It was definitely better having her with me. It made the trip more memorable by having Yuka around. Thanks again! :)

Toshi was awesome and tailored the food tour to what I was interested. He’s lived an awesome life and was a great conversationalist and was really good and patient with answering a bunch of questions. Hit his tour up and have a great time

We had Robert as our guide and he was excellent. He was able to answer every question we had and we had an amazing time. We saw a few touristic spots we wanted to see but then Robert also showed us some hidden gems. We loved it and will book it for the next time in Tokyo as well.

Our tour guide Jorge was amazing. He made our experience in Kanazawa unforgettable! We learned about the Japanese culture.

Shin was a terrific guide. He contacted me early to ask what we were interested in and he tailored our tour to fit our interests. We toured the Nagasaki Peace Park and Museum. He made sure we tasted the delicious local ice cream cones that are shaped into roses! Then we made our way to a local curry house that we would never have found on our own. We also got to see the Nagasaki Bay from two vantage points. Once he saw how many times we mentioned the cats we saw, he took us to a cat temple/shop and we were able to buy original omiyage for our friends there! I would highly recommend Shin. We then went up up up to a temple that had a mochi/manju shop run by an older lady. I was sad to hear that she would be closing her business because no one would take over from her. She made the machi the old way, with mochiko made into mochi then putting the bean paste and rolling it into a bun. It was delicious! Shin disappeared and we worried that we lost him, but he had heard one of us mention hot coffee to go with out mochi and he ran off to buy us some! So very thoughtful! Then I remembered that my MIL wanted this special chocolate and he found it for us at a pop up store. He went above and beyond the scope of a regular guide. I\'d give him 25 million stars if I could! I was worried that we were going over our trip time and i knew he had another commitment so I told him we could find the train station but he insisted on taking us back there. Shin, thank you for a great walking tour and for taking such good care of us. The tram rides were fun and the all the stairs and walking meant I could eat a very good dinner! Lori Tanaka

Amazing service from Jonny, we went to see the most important parts of Tokyo, as well as showing the local areas where the Tokyoites go that do not appear in many touristic ads, I really cannot thank him enough.

Apy is an excellent guide. She took us to the areas we wanted to see, including temples, and lively urban environments in Shinjuku and Shibuya. Very knowledgeable and answered our questions well and give us good advice for the rest of our trip to Japan and Tokyo. Apy was friendly and had a positive attitude and was easy to communicate with. We had a great introduction to Tokyo!

Yuri was a thoughtful guide who adjusted the tour to fit our interests in Osaka. We visited Osaka Castle, explored the food market, checked out the anime district, and finished with a classic Osaka meal. Yuri’s knowledge of the area added a lot to the tour, and we’d recommend her to anyone looking to see Osaka with a local perspective.

I’d made a mistake scheduling with the 24hr clock so Fumiko was in our lobby ready to head out at 8am. Naturally we weren’t quite prepared for a tour at that hour so Fumiko was very flexible and accommodating to reschedule for later the same day. Once we finally headed out on the tour Fumiko took us to a handful of spots where we could sample traditional Japanese street food. Word of advice - pace yourselves at each spot otherwise you will fill up FAST! It was a wonderful experience and Fumiko was a joy to spend time with. Would do it again. 10/10
