He will listen to your questions carefully and provide honest feedback about what's good and what's not so good when it comes to best places to eat (e.g. tourist trap vs. where locals actually eat). His recommendations were all spot on when I tried the next day.

There will be a Japanese tour guide who will take you to a local shop for wine tasting, but it’s just about drinking, and there isn’t much introduction.
