Very interesting and friendly guide. Alex was great!!

Alex was very informative and took us to fun restaurants with great wine. He was very flexible with our preferences and schedule.

My wife & I visited Rome for the first time and only had a day to see the sights. We were linked up with Alex through City Unscripted for a four hour tour and really enjoyed it. Alex is a wealth of knowledge, he showed us all of the main sights we were hoping to see and took us to some others that really added to the experience. We’d highly recommend touring with Alex to get the best experience in Rome.

We did the 3 hour walking tour through Rome with Alessandra. We've done and enjoyed many tours, but Alessandra was quite possibly the best tour guide we have ever had! She is friendly, kind, energy, enthusiastic, and full of interesting information. It was my husband and me and our two sons (16 and 14) and she took time to talk to each of us and get to know us and keep us all engaged. We didn't come prepared with a complete list of things we wanted to see, and we had already scheduled to see many main attractions on separate days, but Alessandra was able to think on the fly and come up with so many interesting places to visit that weren't already on our itinerary. Her passion and enthusiasm for the city of Rome and the history associated with Rome is evident and comes through in her tours. By the end of the three hours we felt we had made a friend and we were sorry to have the tour come to an end. We all had such a good time. Can't recommend her or the tour highly enough!! Alessandra was an amazing guide to get us introduced to all there is to see in Rome! She shared so many interesting facts about the different sites and her stories about the people, history and events was the perfect level of detail for my three teenagers :) I would highly recommend her and I will definitely be calling her again next time I am in Rome!

Alessandra was excellent. We extended our stay in Rome, and she showed us additional “must sees”. She was very knowledgeable and so friendly. A truly delightful experience. We’ll be using Viator on future travels.

Andrea brought me to everywhere I wanted to go and had a huge knowledge of the era I was interested in. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Our guide was educated and informative. We enjoyed different local food while seeing and discussing many historical sites. Our guide was very personable and it felt as though we were visiting and chatting with an old friend.

Vanya was absolutely fabulous! I asked for hidden gems & off the beaten track, in line with my interests - & Vanya did a great job! Full of information, Vanya was fun, friendly & I had a wonderful 4 hours. Will definitely ask for Vanya, when I am back in Rome

Vania’s passion for Rome is apparent as we walked through the cobbled streets. She took us to many hidden gems where tourists were less likely to go. She took us to her recommendations of tiramisu, gelato, coffee, and other Roman favorites! She definitely made our trip better by guiding us off the beaten path!

Our tour guide was very friendly and gave us a lot of information. He brought us to the areas we were interested in seeing.

Angelo was great! He met my husband and I in our hotel lobby and guided us through Rome for 2 hours. It was a fantastic walking tour. And would highly recommend Angelo to anyone!!

My City Unscripted tour with Angelo was absolutely fantastic. He was so kind, incredibly knowledgeable and knew shortcuts for many of the lines (saved god knows how much time). He was dedicated to me having the most thorough and pleasant tour of Rome that could be had. Can’t recommend him highly enough,.

Angelo was the perfect tour guide - he asked us what we would like to see ahead of time and then tailored the tour to our interests. He was knowledgeable about Rome’s extensive history and had interesting stories to share about Rome’s details that we otherwise would never had learned about. We did the three-hour tour, which was great for a leisurely walk around a few of Rome’s neighborhoods, so we got to enjoy the atmosphere of the city. I cannot recommend this tour enough and if you can, try to get Angelo!! Grazie mille!

Indira was very nice and created a tour that showed us exactly what we wanted to see. She answered all our questions using her vast knowledge of Roman history. She also gave us great suggestions on what to do during the rest of our trip.

We had a 2 hour tour of the Vatican including the Basilica di San Pietro. We walked from the Campo di Fiori, stopping to learn about the many places we passed along the way. We were new to Rome so having a personal guide show us the ropes was really nice.

We enjoyed the tour and learned several little extra bits of information.

We had a great experience with this private guided tour. Our guide Luca was very kind and knowledgeable and had curated a tour with our interests in mind. We saw architecture and spots off the beaten path and learned about history we would otherwise not have heard off. Would recommend this tour!

We took a walk with local tour in Rome on 26th December, ‘24 with Luca. Luca was very professional and friendly guide. He had in-depth knowledge of the attractions in Rome. He is very informative and also has a great sense of humour. Luca is also a good photographer and know how to click good snaps. We were very impressed by his knowledge of Rome’s history, culture, food and modern day Roman lifestyle. I would highly recommend Luca as your local tour guide in Rome.

Rome is such an amazing city, so much history and culture! I was the only member of our family who had been to Rome in the past. For our first morning in the city, I wanted a private walking tour to get everyone oriented and excited about the next 4 days we'd be spending there. Our highly professional and personable guide, Massimo Avella, did not disappoint. He arrived at our hotel early and greeted us enthusiastically. It was his sincere wish to show us his beloved city with our particular interests in mind -- and not just history and culture, but also restaurant and shopping recommendations. He kept us entertained and informed throughout our 3 hours together, and when we had to say goodbye, left us wishing it didn't have to end so soon! Thank you, Massimo!

Olga provided us with a wonderful walking tour of Rome, showing us sites we never would have found without a knowledgeable guide. She went above and beyond to confirm the tour with us as I lost my cell phone in the airport prior to arrival. She was very patient while we explored sites and offered additional time frequently. She was very friendly, went at a good pace, and provided us with a wealth of information. I highly recommend her!

Olga was very knowledgeable in everything Rome has to offer. She took us to areas of Rome we wouldn’t have gotten to without her guiding us through the city! She took great pictures of us along the way and pointed out important parts of the city’s history and gave us a perfect amount of information on each one while allowing us to see as much of the city as we could. Our Tour guide Olga was fantastic. Contact was made very early and everything personalized. She cared about who we were, was fun, welcoming and friendly. Her knowledge of Ancient Rome and Architecture is amazing, we learned a lot through a relaxed walk around Rome. She also adapted according to the weather conditions and made sure we didn’t miss out on the main points during our stay after the tour. Make sure to ask for Olga if you book this tour. Claudio was an excellent guide! We saw things we had never seen before on our previous trips to Rome. He made the experience so fun and interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and I highly recommend it.

Claudio was a very excellent and kind host who paid attention to my unique needs. He took me to boutiques that I never would have found by myself, helped me find pieces that work for me and gave advice for my style. We paused for beverages and for beautiful vistas of Rome. The pace was very good for me and we took care of everything on my list: gifts for family, something for the home, and many lovely things for me. I am not a great shopper. Prior to my afternoon with Claudio, I was not finding the kinds of shops that suited me. He gave me advice for any further shopping if I need it.

Claudio was a wonderful host who took me to the exact types of boutiques that I wanted. We covered everything on my list in shops I never would have found on my own. We paused for history and beautiful vistas while keeping a pace that was good for me. Claudio gave me good clothing advice and helped find sizes for me.

Claudio was amazing! We had a great time and he was able to show us great food places, churches, fun facts, and make recommendations!

Irene is a fabulous tour guide. She is knowledgeable, a great conversationalist, and fun-loving. Irene tailored the tour to my interests and was flexible with last-minute changes. She is one of Rome's treasures.

Irene was very friendly and very educational. We truly enjoyed walking to the main sites and walking thru smaller streets which shows more if a local daily living. Have great walking shoes the time of the tour is well spent and you can customize it to your liking! Highly recommended and ask for Irene!
