You’ll join one of our local Rome hosts for a night in Trastevere, one of the city’s most characteristic neighborhoods with a heady nightlife.
This once working-class district is now known for its lively nocturnal vibes and its charismatic streetside cafes which overflow with a bohemian crowd of artists, musicians, and students.
You’ll join the locals at dusk when friends gather at outdoor bars and around tables in character-packed piazzas to share a few bottles of wine and trattorias fill to bursting point.
Head to an outdoor bar with your host for a few drinks and soak up the atmosphere as you sip vino or ice-cold beer on the cobbles and under the stars.
Bar hop around the neighborhood with your host as it comes alive, flitting between microbreweries and chic wine bars, maybe indulging in some late-night shopping or a late-night meal, and stopping in the piazzas to watch street performers.
Trastevere only really comes alive at night, so everything stays open late and your host can’t wait to share a few drinks and its playful attitude with you.

Massimo took my sister and I on a private tour in the Trastevere neighborhood of Rome. He was the perfect guide - personable, funny and interesting. You can tell he loves his job, and we learned a lot from our time with him. I definitely recommend touring with a local guide and ask for Massimo when in Rome!

Gerry, He was polite , informative, and pleasant to show you the great town of Rome. I enjoyed my time in Rome, and Gerry made it a lot more pleasant for me since I was solo in Rome.
