Manchester is such a cool City and my tour guide Darren was perfect. He has lots of interesting local knowledge about the town’s history and culture. He was fascinating on the music scene in particular. It was fun and I would highly recommend.

Manchester is such a fantastic City. There is so much to see but it is all very walkable. Darren was interesting and funny and passed on his love for the area. He knows a great deal about the history of the City and the music scene in particular. It was a fab morning tour! I would highly recommend.

Our guide, Darren, was fantastic! We signed up for the Manchester Music Tour, but Darren did such a great job with combining it with Football history along with overall history of the City of Manchester. He had first hand knowledge of so many of the places that we visited and it was so great to get his perspective having lived through the Madchester scene! Darren was extremely personable and we got on with him very well. I would strongly recommend him to anyone that has a chance to participate in one of his many tours.

Did you know that the “insert item” was invented in Manchester? We learned so much on our two hour tour including the incredible listing of invented/created in Manchester tidbits that we have a new found affinity for the city that has nothing to do with its football teams. Jutta was always communicating prior to the tour and even gave us a great pub suggestion for the day before our scheduled tour - she gave us a great 2 hour tour covering everything we asked for in the lead up to the tour. We wanted to know about the history of the city with some emphasis on the music scene in particular the late 70’s and early 80’s punk and new wave music makers. We ended the tour with another great suggestion for a quiet coffee and scone location. Jutta can easily be hired for a longer tour should one have the time or inclination. I’m sure we missed so much. However, it was what we asked for and she delivered in spades. A great tour!

Jutta was a terrific guide and gave us an excellent experience in spite of much of Manchester being closed on the day after Christmas. She was knowledgeable and enjoyable to spend time with.

Our guide Jutta was well on time and since we were too, we were able to start a little earlier. We received an expert animated tour. We learned a lot about Manchester, for which thanks to Jutta. did not prevent me from showing some hidden gems. I would definitely recommend this tour. I am not very good at walking myself, so 2 hours was sufficient for me. You can also book a longer tour.

My husband and I had a great time on the tour with Roy. He is exceptionally kind, vastly knowledgeable, and engages in easy, friendly conversation. He provided us an eclectic history of Manchester with lessons on the city’s origins, music, food, architecture, and much more.

The tour with Francesca was perfect. Not only did she have an excellent knowledge of the ins and outs of Manchester’s music scene, but she also spoke about it with passion. We had a fantastic time walking around Manchester with Francesca. She made a great effort to tailor the tour to our interests and she was really fun to talk to -- it felt like hanging out with a local friend. Exactly what we wanted, a great day trip from London.

Kieran took the time to get to know about our interests ahead of the tour. He made it personal and fun, showing us lots of cool places, provided historical facts and interesting information along the way.

Had a good walk around the city and learnt loads about Manchester we had no idea about despite a few previous visits. It was really good that Kieran knew the areas so well and had personal anecdotes to bring the city to life. Followed Kierans personalised recommendations and had a brilliant dinner and night out after and he showed us where to go from our hotel the next day to get to the main shopping centres and eateries.

It was a great and very interesting sightseeing tour through the versatile Manchester! Thanks a lot!

He was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, nice, and very polite. The tour was very special because he took me to places I would have never found. It was very amazing and fun. Even though the company never send me the questionnaire it worked out. William was open minded and ask me what I wanted to do. Dylan is a very pleasant young man who knows his home town well. He is a Manchester U person and gives a generational perspective. For baby boomers like my wife and I, it was an interesting perspective. We enjoyed our time with him and he was flexible in what we saw.
