Some of the restaurants in particular we would never have come across and were chic and those the local Athenians go to. Our flight was delayed coming into Athens by over three hours but our guide Natasha was so understanding and patient and adjusted our tour time accordingly. She met us right on schedule at our hotel and we set off on a wondrous journey on foot. We went inside the Panaghia Kapnikarea Church, a gem right in the middle of a bustling center. Next was a walk through Monastiraki to Tetraconch Church to the Roman Agora. Then a little delicious break for a treat at a hilltop restaurant with a great view. We walked through Jacqueline de Romilly Square to Ano Petralona and had a veritable feast at a charming restaurant there. Natasha kept us entertained with lively conversation and the time just flew by! What a great tour to kick off our trip to Greece with Natasha, our lovely guide.

I am Eva and I am a proud Athenian. Athens is surrounded by many historic ancient sights, such as Acropolis, The Roman and Athenian markets, and of course plenty of museums, for which I have plenty of knowledge, as history is one of my main interests. Further, I love the city's exuberance. It is large, with many neighborhoods and districts, each one of them with its style, like the famous Plaka and Monastiraki at the center of the city, or even places by the beach for swimming, or high on the mountains for nice hiking routes. In regards to food, I have explored several beautiful places with exceptional food, from street food to the finest dining restaurant in Athens. At last, as Athens is one of the cities that never sleeps, there are plenty of choices for having a nice glass of wine, or any drink is preferable. Hi, I’m Beatrice

My name is Beatrice and I am a Greek native citizen who has lived in many countries including Australia, Belgium, the US, the UK, Egypt and Greece of course.

My family is all based in Greece therefore I have had a solid base here since I was born. Throughout my studies I would return to visit family and friends at least twice a year. I only moved back permanently due to the pandemic in 2020 and have been settled since in Athens. I usually frequent bars in Exarheia, Botanikos, Metaksourgeio and Kolonaki. I go to gallery openings every week and go to gigs often too! I know many museums such as the Benaki museum, the national gallery, galleries such as Breeder for more contemporary interests. Moreover in terms of strolling around the city I would take my guests as a start for a walk near the Acropolis to visit the ancient sites, check out the market as well and then to have a coffee at Briki, which is small and tucked away close to Psyri.

No. Our experiences are unscripted and designed around you. Instead of following a rigid itinerary, your host will plan a personalized journey that feels natural, immersive, and unique.

What if I don’t know what I want to explore?

That’s completely fine! Select an experience theme or a flexible discovery experience, and after booking, answer a few questions so your host can design the perfect experience for you.

Will I be able to speak to my host beforehand?

Yes. After we match you with your host, we’ll introduce you so you can chat about the plan and make any tweaks before the day.

How do you match me with a host?

We ask a few questions. After you book, you’ll fill out a short questionnaire about your interests and travel style. We’ll then match you with the best local host to design your experience.

Can I request specific places to visit?

Yes! After booking, you will receive a questionnaire where you can highlight must-visit spots and anything else you’d like to include, and your host will craft your experience around them.

Will I know my itinerary in advance?

Yes, you will have the opportunity to chat with your host directly and agree on a plan for the day. However, there’s always room for spontaneity and local surprises!

Can I mix different themes in one experience?

Absolutely! Whether you want a blend of food, history, local culture, or nightlife, your host will seamlessly weave them together into one immersive experience.

Can my host meet me at my accommodation?

Hotel meet-ups are available upon request in central areas. If you're staying outside the city, your host will recommend the best meeting spot and guide you with directions.

Can I cancel if my plans change?

Yes. You can cancel for free up to 24 hours before your experience date—no questions asked.
