We had a great tour with Miki who was able to accommodate meeting us at the cruise terminal. Miki reached out in advance to make sure we knew where to meet and communication was seamless. We were able to try a few different local foods followed by a sushi lunch and dessert spot. We were also able to pass by a few sightseeing spots, which we visited once the tour was over.

I had a wonderful time seeing Nagasaki with Shin. He introduced me to local food that I would have missed, which was all delicious. Shin also brought me to a cute little store that only sells cat themed trinkets - great for gifts. Shin was generous in sharing his life experiences and Japanese culture, and I learned a lot about Nagasaki. I highly recommend Shin as a guide- you’ll have a great day!

What more can I say about Shin other than to say that he may have created our favorite excursion in a trip full of highlights. From the beginning, he was ready to introduce us to new foods, and he always asked about our limits before pushing the boundaries. He gave us great context on a lot of the local foods and drinks while allowing us to try things we probably never would have on our own. On top of that, he was a pleasure to talk to and be around. Personal touches were everywhere, up to a personalized birthday cake he had waiting for me. I can't recommend Shin highly enough to anyone who wants a taste of the local culture in Nagasaki

Shinn met us on time at the cruise port just as planned. He arranged a nice itinerary around the city focused on its natural beauty. One in our group is in a wheelchair , which he was able to accommodate nicely. He provided a magnificent Bento box lunch on a pleasant hillside before taking us back. He even took time to help us navigate a huge mall in search of some special items. Friendly, knowledgeable and easily understood English, Shinn is your Nagasaki guide.
