I consider myself an expert in both art and immigration history, and I have a particular affinity for Manhattan's Lower East Side, Chinatown, Little Italy, East, and West Village, as well as Brooklyn's Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and Fort Greene. I grew up in New Jersey and moved into the city after college. I love New York, and I've been showing visitors around the city on a regular basis since 2003. I think I'm a pretty good storyteller, and that really helps with this job. I also have some more niche passions, in particular board games, Marvel Comics and history. As much as I love the big city, I love to travel, and I enjoy meeting other travellers too. There's always more to learn, and there's always more of New York to show.

Now that I’m semi-retired I do what I enjoy most; spending time with my family and sharing my love of NYC with others. Originally from Ireland, I’m an honorary New Yorker and Irish-American, living and very much at home in the cultural capital of the Western world - the concrete jungle where dreams are made of - New York City! At the moment I’m studying a Master in Musical Theatre Writing at the Tisch School of the Performing Arts, NYU, on an academic scholarship, and I recently made my off-off-Broadway debut at the Chain Theatre in midtown, starring in a show entitled, ‘If And When You Said Goodbye.’ I have been working as a tour guide here since gaining my state license certification. I graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature & History, receiving a First Class Honours for my creative writing dissertation from award winning novelist and screenwriter Eoin McNamee of the Oscar Wilde Center for Irish Writing. Alongside regular performances with the Trinity College drama society’s improv troupe, and writing, directing and performing in countless shows, it was while at Trinity that I began to work as a guide, giving tours of the college campus. Outside the world of theatre, I compose music and poetry voraciously, make lino prints, write screenplays and short stories, and loads else besides! It has been my absolute pleasure to get to know this vibrant city, and equally to share that knowledge and love as a host for people like you looking for a NYC experience they’ll never forget!

I was born in Tanzania, am of Indian descent and grew up in Florida. I am naturally drawn to travel, New York and everything that it includes -- culture, food, history and of course the people. I work in public relations and real estate so I am very comfortable being around people of all backgrounds and always love to make friends with strangers. I know NYC well and can direct anyone towards any type of adventure in many countries. I am often asked for recommendations and it makes me happy to know there is an adventurous/travel spirit in all of us.

I’m an opera singer and comedic actress.Im a dramatic coloratura, my repertoire I’d mainly music of Giuseppe Verdi.

I love food.make up design and entertainment. In my 30s I sang briefly in Europe . I met the most interesting and incredible people there , not just singers but entrepreneurs and graduate students who were studying counseling. I learned some Italian and German . when I returned to New York , I worked in catering/events. I love the excitement of events and parties . You never know who you will meet . I was also a top sales representative for a dog food company. Surprisingly enough I also love country music I have seen George strait 5 times in west Texas . I also volunteer for Tunnels For Towers , a marathon that gives to the victims of September 11.
