I was able to learn so much about Edinburgh on this walking tour. Our guide Gwen was very knowledgeable and made sure to tailor our experience to our interests. She also gave us plenty of resources and great recommendations for the rest of our stay.

Gee was attentive to our interest and made a great effort. We were impressed by his knowledge and how he made history come alive during the tour. Thanks to Gee’s tips , we manage to find Best Buys that are made in Scotland only and also find delicious food . He also suggested to us several attractions. These attractions were useful to our understanding of Scotland . I am also grateful for the great photo shots he took for us ! Thank you , Gee ! Keep up the good work !

Our guide, Gee, asked us at the beginning of the tour what we would like to see, and then decided what to show us based on that. We saw a diverse range of things, including the graveyard, Edinburgh castel, the old town, and the new town.

Our tour started being picked up right off the dock. We had an informative drive into Edinburgh and then off to wander the miracle mile. Richard was enthusiastic and had a wealth of knowledge on Edinburg history. He also regaled us in stories of the more turbulent and dark stories of the cities history at our request. A stroll through the cemetery was a favorite. Backstreets and Alleys cobblestones and stairs we traversed the old city and Richard answered our many questions. After a deli ou lunch in the city we were off to Hopetoun house. It’s actually a palace in my opinion but nevertheless it is an awe inspiring structure built in 1699. We toured the house and spoke to the knowledgeable staff and learned a great deal about the home and the family. We were then returned to the dock and said our good byes. You can’t go wrong with Richard on this tour. Highly recommend this tour.

Edinburgh ist eine fantastische Stadt und Tom ein sehr sympathischer Guide mit viel historischem und aktuellem Wissen. Besonders gefallen haben uns die vielen Anekdoten. Edinburgh is a fantastic city and Tom is a very personable guide with a lot historical and current knowledge. We particularly liked the many anecdotes.

Thomas was a very knowledgeable tour guide who was able to answer all the questions that we peppered him with and gave us additional information that we didn’t know prior to our tour.

Tom was the BEST tour guide!! He was so excited about his country's history and knew so many interesting facts, stories, folklore, legends, restaurant recommendations and made our trip to Edinburgh one of our favorite cities!

It didn’t matter what question I asked. He had a answer for everything regarding the history of the town as well as Scotland’s history. He was very knowledgeable as well as pleasant.

Good communication before tour. Great value for a private tour. More for adults than kids. Covered everything we wanted and a great intensive tour of Edinburgh.

Colin was wonderful and the time spent together was full of information, from historical details to fun facts about Edinburgh. We got to know from him a lot about the old town and the new one and he gave us ideas about how to spend the next coming days of our holiday. In addition to the old city we visited new city and some other out-of-bitten tracks. Thus, I’ve got different angle of the city.

We had such a special time with Brian on this food tour. We tried scotch, yogurt balls, fried mars bars, etc. Brian was very knowledgeable about Edinburgh and Scottish history. He took us by some of the best spots in Edinburgh. We could not have asked for a better tour guide

We had a limited time in Edinburgh and Calcedonio Riesi was our tour guide. His love of history and his city and country was evident as he gave us an engaging walk through Edinburgh -full of history, myths, and anecdotes. He offered suggestions for the remainder of our stay as well. Full of knowledge and energy, the time flew by as we talked centuries of royalty, history, renovations and progress. You can’t miss spending some time with Cal!

Cal made every effort to address our interests and engaged us in the history and present day of Edinburgh. We would highly recommend him for any tour…He has a great level of energy … he clearly loves his city, his country’s history and meeting people to share his passion and love of history.

Michael did an amazing job taking us off the "beaten path" when touring Edinburgh. We appreciated how Michael tailored the tour to our needs. I had sent a list of things we wanted to see and do, and Elizabeth did her best to make sure we did them. She was knowledgeable and fun to be with. We had good weather at the beginning, which turned to bad. We still managed to experience the Royal Mile and were grateful that we had Elizabeth to guide us.

Very engaging, very enthusiastic great knowledge from how the land was formed to the history of the city. Even recommended somewhere for dinner which we tried and was and excellent choice.

Harris arrived at my hotel. He was kind enough to meet me there. We walked at a nice pace. Harris told little stories about various locations and people. Very accommodating. I would highly recommend going with Harris to explore Edinburgh

freddi was sweet and knowledgeable and fun to be with - he also intuitively knew when we needed to sit down or liked to view nature or one of those hideaway alcoves - all in all we really enjoyed our time with him!

Could not have asked for a better experience

Fabulous tour and will definitely book Jen again when I return to Edinburgh. I had a tween and a toddler in a pushchair. Jen planned an itinerary which was pushchair accessible and that kept my tween fascinated. She has gone back to school full of information on Edinburghs history and culture. I also learnt lots and more importantly we all had fun. Jen is lovely and my toddler loved her (she doesn’t like anyone so that’s the highest recommendation you can get) If you are pondering over whether it is worth the money, it is! Book now and you will not regret it

Our morning with Andre exceeded our expectations. We booked our tour of Edinburgh at the very last minute but Andre reached out to us and put together the most perfect introduction to this amazing city. He showed us several sites we never would have found or understood without him ,and he made many recommendations which we appreciated and used on our own. He was always mindful of our needs, ( coffee, rest breaks etc. ) and made himself available for questions even after we parted. I feel as if we have made a friend in Edinburgh and would not hesitate to request him again. Best decision we ever made! Thank you, Andre!

Andre was wonderful. His passion for all things Edinburgh and appreciation for the natural beauty within and around the city made for a phenomenal tour. From the views of the Palace, to the base views of the surrounding hills to the walk up the Royal Mile each step was filled with great stories both common and unique.

Alice is a fantastic storyteller and is very knowledgeable. We had two hours walking around Edinburgh and I feel we saw the highlights of everything.
