He kept my children entertained and so us some great spots and he was easy to understand

On October 22nd, Gerry from City Unscripted took my wife and I through the beautiful old town of Tivoli. We began with a walk through the city streets, and Gerry took the time to explain how life in the middle ages affected the architecture of the city. He showed a deep knowledge of the area, its history and explained it very well. For Lunch, we ate at a small local restaurant where fresh pasta and wine from the owners' vineyard were provided - we didn't have to wait long, and the food tasted great. We then went through the Villa d'Este UNESCO World heritage Site, where we were given in-depth explanations on the meanings of the frescoes found in the villa, and looked upon many beautifully crafted fountains and well-maintained gardens. As we were running a bit short on time, our last two stops - The Tivoli Duomo Cattedrale di San Lorenzo (where we were allowed to see the ancient structure of the church) and the outer area of the Villa Gregoriano (where we saw a Roman temple) - were quite short, but Gerry wanted to fulfill my request of seeing more ancient structures from the Roman period, which was appreciated. Overall, I think we may have bit off more than we could chew, but Gerry was an excellent guide through the whole day.

Gianmarco was knowledgeable, patient and kind. He understood that we had a 4 yr old w/us and accommodated us accordingly. Thanks to City Unscripted for this wonderful private tour.

If it's your 1st or 3rd trop to Florence, I'd highly recommend this tour since it's tailored to your specific interests and needs. Marilisa was a great tour guide. She showed us many local gems and hot spots. All of us had a great time!

Martina was amazing! She met us at our hotel and gave us a tour of a bunch of different neighborhoods in Florence, sharing the history of the churches and landmarks we passed and pointing out details in the art and architecture that we wouldn't have noticed on our own. It was so nice to be able to go at our own pace - we're fast walkers and city people, but we had spent most of the week on group tours, slowly moving with a large crowd and not seeing as much as we'd like to see. Martina knew the city so well, and we really felt that she gave us some unique insight into what life is like for locals. She recommended some great places to visit and eat! Would definitely recommend a tour with her to friends and family.

Jacopo was a great guide showing and explaining all the key highlights of Firenze. We received just the right amount of information and history. Sometimes guides can be overwhelming with information which you cannot possibly retain.

Jacopo was very informative and set a good pace to the walking tour. He took extra time with us showing and explaining details and historical facts. He showed us wonderful places to look at on our own and places to eat or stop for a refreshment. Jacopo was most accommodating to our needs and interacted with everyone in our group.

Florence is a city that I have wanted to visited for many years and I could literally not have picked a better tour guide than Jacopo in that he is a local Florentino and what better way to see the city than with a local? Jacopo took his time in guiding me around the city as we went to explore the many Architectural wonders and artifacts that Florence has to offer and places that I wanted to see of personal interest and explanation of the historical importance of the river Arno and the connection with the development of the city. I have been on many public and private tours and have felt that at times they were sometimes rushed but I like the ease of Pace that Jacopo took to make sure that I did not miss anything and helps the fact that he is pretty open to be able to ask anything and might add he does have a great sense of humour in which I discovered he is also a stand up comedian which he probably will not like me mentioning

He was knowledgeable, kind and funny. I appreciated the perfect blend of touristy sights and local hidden gems. Our Florence experience wouldn't have been this amazing without him. Thank you Jacopo!

Miguel or Michell was a great tour guide I love that he gave us history and details about items and things around Florence that we didn't know. The fact that he took his time with us I was very patient one of my relatives is very old and she wants to raise slow and I love the fact that he really just took the time to make all of us feel like family truly appreciate his time and I would definitely use him again as a tour guide and would definitely recommend them to someone else. Couple of the things that I really appreciated was that he took the time to take us to places that honestly were like one of those like you know places that are really known only if you are a local I like the fact that we came out of this experience feeling like we understood Florence so much better. And I want to thank him because he took the time out to help us out to figure out where we needed to be since we had to be at a certain location and again time from his from his own self and again truly thank him again and would recommend him.

Michele was an excellent guide. We were able to see everything we wanted in 4 hours. His recommendations for food were spot on. He was waiting on us in our hotel lobby prior to the start time. I would 100% use him again and I’ll be recommending him to my friends.

Michaela was so articulate, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We covered several areas of the city, stopped for a cappuccino and were able to enjoy the city so much more after our tour. He even gave some great recommendations for restaurants, shops and other areas of the City.

We booked the 2 hour private tour with a local guide. I highly recommend this tour. Our guide Mara with "City Unscripted" was very knowledgeable and took us to areas of Florence that we would not have ventured to on our own. She made recommendations for things for us to do on our own and places to eat that were not in touristy part of Florence.

Mara is the best guide ever for food and wine in Florence! You can do no better. She’s kind, smart, attentive, funny; she’s the best.

My husband and I had a great tour with Mara! We took the 2 hour tour and it was just enough time to give us a great overview of Florence and help us determine what we wanted to do during our stay. She was nice enough to take some pictures for us and give us historical knowledge of the different neighborhoods and places. Great value for the tour and we thoroughly enjoyed our time.
