I had the great honor of being guided by Bruce who has been living in Fukuoka for more than 20 years and has made a significant impact on the modern Yatai food scene. He was very professional and fun. He explained and showed me the true essence of Fukuoka which helped me further understand its local culture. I am a big history and culture person, so I had an absolutely stellar time. Highly recommend this tour and please ask for Bruce if you are interested in the Yatai!

Off the beaten path experiences

Fumiko did a really great job showing us some really fun highlights of Osaka for our first few hours in the city! We told her we really like off the beaten path places and good food and she definitely delivered! We snacked all afternoon and she showed us some amazing markets that we can’t wait to explore in depth! She also showed us some very unique local places and a beautiful small temple. Must See Kyoto Private Tour

We had an amazing time with our guide Alvin. The itinerary he came up with was perfectly timed, and he had so much knowledge about the history and lore/legends. He talked anime and video games with my husband, which was nice. It really felt like we were being shown around by a friend. Also, I am sure he could have walked circles around us but he was very intuitive when it came to setting the pace. I never felt like he was walking too fast or had issues keeping up, and I am not what anyone would call athletic. Also, he took GREAT photos of us.

Must See Kyoto Private Tour

Kenta was an insightful and knowledgeable tour guide. He designed the itinerary around our Kyoto ‘must sees’ and provided advice on what are really the key things to do. He also took us to a great restaurant which we would never have found on our own plus made sure we were able to do the things that we really wanted to do like also buy a set of great Japanese knives.
