Hi there! I'm Akari, your friendly local host here in Kanazawa. Kanazawa has stolen my heart with its relaxing vibes and stunning natural scenery. Akari was extremely knowledgeable about the areas she showed me & was a lovely conversation partner. Seeing inside some of the houses in the samurai district was fascinating. And having her point out a structure dating back to the Imjin was extremely surprising.

We had a wonderful time exploring Kanazawa with Atari! It was amazing how much we saw in 4 hours and even in the rain she made it such a memorable experience.

I booked a half-day guided tour of Kanazawa. Akari was very enthusiastic in introducing all the itinerary attractions. The itinerary was also very flexible in coordinating the location and location, so I could walk around leisurely and discover stories about the attractions I didn’t know about. Akari was also willing to provide assistance with subsequent travel issues. It was a great travel companion.
