Stroll from Amstel, a cornerstone neighborhood in the city’s LGBT history (might we suggest popping into Chez René or Amstel 54 - iconic spots) to Reguliersdwarsstraat, the heart, and soul of Amsterdam’s LGBTQ scene.
Allow your host to lead you off the beaten track and get a true taste of what this culture is really about - inclusivity, freedom, and of course, fun! Maybe try the popular gay bar, Taboo, or stop by at The Getto. This burlesque club comes bistro has been a ‘lounge’ for the LGBTQ community for decades.

Our group of four thoroughly enjoyed our private tour with Anna. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant. She gave us much history of Amsterdam and introduced us to a number of hidden gems that we wouldn’t have found on our own. She also recommended some restaurants for a local experience. We returned to one that evening for dinner. Outstanding tour and I highly recommend Anna.

We had an amazing morning with Wendy. We opted for the 4 hour tour which was Ian ideal pace for us. Having arrived the day before, we were still a bit jet lagged. Arriving hungry, Wendy knew the perfect place for Dutch pancakes. We then explored the different parts of town. Noting our interests, Wendy took us to the flower market, to try herring, some historical spots and the Delph store. Couldn’t have asked for a better mix! Wendy was a delight!!
