Colorful places, people and stories
Here’s everything you need to know before your day unfolds.
What if we told you that you could leave the crowds behind you and sip some sangria or a coffee from a quirky cafe that’s tucked into the hillside? We’re sure you’d want to go, we certainly do. Luckily, the stylish Gràcia neighborhood is just a short metro ride away, and one of our local Barcelona hosts can’t wait to share it with you.
Most people come here to see Gaudi’s Parc Guëll, a masterpiece for sure, but there’s more to discover of this intimate neighborhood and your host will reveal its more authentic side to you. Wander this barrio with its many faces and stories and browse its quirky boutiques where local designers sell their handmade jewelry, clothes, homeware, and accessories.
Pop into a colorful market or stop by a specialist food shop for something delicious to munch on, or be charmed by the trendy bars that line Carrer Verdi and Plaça de Sol - it happens to the best of us. More colorful, stylish, and creative than most, this is one artistic neighborhood you need to visit!

Pau was incredibly knowledgable and friendly. We covered so much in 2 hours. We appreciated that Pau met us at our hotel with very little notice after something came up with our original guide.

Show moreWe had a great time exploring the city and seeing lots of great things! Stopped for a great lunch and loved all the history she shared. Overall a wonderful experience!
Show moreWe were a little apprehensive about doing this as it is Unscripted (as the the tour suggests), but it ended up being planned out exactly to our tastes. Our guide took us around the El Born area, starting at the market with drinks and croquettes along with other foods to satisfy our Foodie tastes. We walked around El Born learning about the area, the culture and the traditions. We stopped at the original place for Los Pescatidos. We had Catalan dessert and Cava. I was quite impressed with this experience, especially not knowing what we were going to do and see. Would do it again.
Show moreWhat a great way to experience Barcelona - truly the highlights ! The guide was fantastic, knowledgeable, astute, charming and full of stories. While it didn’t include entrance to any of the Gaudi sites - you could fully customize the experience with the exception being that many entrances require advance booking during the holidays - this was a ‘highly recommended’ experience!
