Scouse stew, a global street food feast and Liverpool’s only brewpub.
Here’s everything you need to know before your day unfolds.
Who doesn’t love a good meal - especially an authentically local one! So you’ll join one of our local Liverpool hosts for a food crawl around what might be the happiest city you’ve ever visited.
There must be something in the water (or the beer). We know that the best way to get to know a new city and culture is through its food, and in Liverpool, you’re in for a lot of food!
Try classic pub grub and a pint of real ale - something like ‘Scouse’ springs to mind, a hearty stew, or fish and chips spring to mind.
Then, head to the Baltic Triangle where you’ll taste another side of Liverpool. Here you’ll find a warehouse-style market that’s a blend of booze, live entertainment, and global street food, supplied by local vendors and breweries.
With a veritable feast on offer here, we’re not sure how much you’ll be able to squeeze in - but there’s always room for some hot cookie dough or sweet Chinese pancakes, right?
You’ll find Liverpool’s only brewpub here too - we won’t blame you if you want to stay awhile.
*The Baltic Market is open Wednesday and Thursday, from 12pm on Friday and from 11am on Saturday and Sunday. We highly recommend booking your personalized experience within this timeframe, so you can make the most out of your time here.

Great way to see the city, the guide Joe was incredibly knowledgeable and flexible, and went out of his way to personalize the tour for us.
Show moreOur tour was amazing! Perfect mix of historical sightseeing, local cuisine, and cute and quaint downtown spots off of the beaten path. Pete (our guide), we could not have been happier with! He was very knowledgeable, attentive to what we wanted to do/see, and was a welcoming and friendly person- 10/10!
Show moreJoe was our guide. He was very accommodating, and tailored the tour to us and our interests. Focusing on history and the changes of the area. He answered all questions and went at a slow pace. The place he chose for food and drinks was nice and very local feeling. Truly enjoyed our time here and learning about so many things. Joe was a wealth of knowledge and was ever so eager to share it with us. He even stay past time to walk us back to the ship. He truly was focused on ensuring we enjoyed ourselves and not the stop watch. Highly recommend him.
Show moreOur guide Chris was just incredible. Very knowledgeable and been in a few pubs including The Cavern ,learned a lot about Liverpool and remembered the good old days of the Beatles sixties.
Show moreFunny, fun, friendly…..!!! Knowledgeable. Thank you Pete.
Show moreMy husband and I wanted to see the sights of Liverpool and taste some of the foods that were authentic to the town. Joe was so knowledgeable on the history and the sights of the town taking us to see the architecture and tell the story of how the town evolved. We stopped along the way to take pictures and ask questions at our leisure (which is not typical of a group tour so this was a nice touch) Joe took us to some restaurants, we would have never found, and we got to taste some foods that the locals enjoy as well as try some of their beers. The cost of the tour was no more than the excursions offered by the cruise line we were with but so much better in experience! If we could have had a “Joe” at every port we would have booked it!! We will be using this service again.
