We had our Lantau tour booked through Marriott Activities, and Nik was our exceptional guide. From the start, she made a genuine effort to connect with us, taking the time to learn about our family’s interests. She went above and beyond by incorporating our survey responses into the itinerary, tailoring the experience to suit our preferences perfectly. Her extensive knowledge was invaluable, offering fantastic guidance on food, shopping, and unique experiences. Nik’s personalized approach truly elevated our trip, making it memorable and enjoyable. Thank you, Nik, for ensuring our tour was such a delightful journey!

Wonderful day/tour. We started early and avoided the crowds at the Buda (a lot of stairs). Malin was a great guide and very personable. She knows the area very well.

Benny was the best guide. He was prompt and on time as well as very knowledgeable and reliable. He spoke good English and was always looking out for our best interests and safety. We think Benny should get his referral bonus because we booked the Big Buddha and Landau island tour on his recommendation. We tried to use the code which did not work right so customer service sent us a new code which we used to book with. We enjoyed our stay in Hong Kong and will look forward to using City Unscripted again in other cities where available. Thank You Roger Moushabek

We booked one tour with City Unscripted, for a half-day tour of Hong Kong, and then we were able to arrange with them for a full day tour of Lantau Island and another full day exploring Hong Kong with the same guide. The people at City Unscripted were very helpful and accommodating with this. Simon was a wonderful guide. He had lived a long time in both Hing Kong and Canada, so he spoke perfect English and Chinese, and he understood both the local culture and our perspective. Because these were private tours, we were able to customize what we wanted to see and how much time to spend at each attraction. Simon was very flexible and understanding. He was also very knowledgeable about the history and details of the places we visited. He kept the pace going briskly, without being rushed. The places we ate were not tourist traps at all but filled with locals. He met us at our hotel each morning, and then we traveled by foot, cab, subway, bus, and ferry.
