What you’ll do

You’ll join one of our food-loving Hong Kong hosts to explore Hong Kong's food culture in the heart of the colorful Kowloon neighborhood. Game changer - you’ll do so after dark. Lit by thousands of neon signs, this lively district really comes alive when the sun sets and with a name that means ‘9 dragons’, it’s no surprise.

See the most incredible views of the Symphony of Lights and Hong Kong Island’s skyline over the water before your host guides you through the maze of streets that make up this exciting area.

Eat your way around traditional night markets where vendors sell all the classics like steamed crab, cheung fun (chewy rice noodles), siu mai (a street version of a steamed dim sum classic), and fried octopus tentacles - this is where you’ll find some of the best food in the city!

Head to Dundas Street and explore the gaai, or back alleys, where you’ll find tiny bars selling drinks ranging from herbal medicines to beers!

When you are done, why not grab a seat at one of the bars with your host who will share local secrets with you, like where the locals go at 5 am to eat fried squid balls after a night of partying, and where the best underground clubs are.

Benny took us to places we never would of found on our own and introduced us to foods we hadn’t tried before. Delicious! Hw was also a good source of local knowledge. We needed a new suitcase and he showed us an outlet - the Bazaar. We went back the next day and bought a suitcase for a good price and better quality than the street markets. Thanks Benny!

We had just got off the plane from the uk. We may have gone to bed shattered but we certainly were not hungry He was able to help us with all those things that you need to do but find it difficult to do when you arrive in a new country

Bertha is amazing, down to earth, interesting; it feels like just going around with a good friend who happens to be a local. The food selections were perfect and delicious. The places we walked through were great and had I wanted to buy anything I’m sure she would have been a great help. Bertha even took me to a book store after she heard that’s what I was interested in.

My girlfriend is fluent in Mandarin and I am fluent in English. Pinky was able to communicate to us in both languages. She was constantly switching, it was amazing. Her knowledge of the city and personality were amazing.

I was accompanied by Evangeline and I couldn't have been happier. Brilliant conversationalist, knowledgeable and an extremely proud woman. I have to state that Evangeline ranks as THE ABSOLUTE BEST guide ever!

This was a great experience. We took the slightly unbeaten path to have an authentic experience in sampling the local fare. It was a walking tour, and our guide, Pinky, was the absolute best. She was very knowledgeable and patient as we took in the sights. We went to some local markets, and experienced “Fish Street”…where there were rows and rows of shops that sold fish ( and other pets) and all the supplies needed to care for them. She also shared valuable information about the culture of the city. We ended the tour with an ice cream dessert, and great pics to document our time in Hong Kong.
