Our tour guide, Ugo, is absolutely the best!!! He customized a tour for my husband and I to see everything that was important to us in the tour. Ugo’s knowledge of the history and art behind the sites is amazing. He brings so much perspective and information throughout the tour that I’d next level! Seeing the city through the eyes of a native was very meaningful. Ugo is kind, fun and extremely knowledgeable in everything we saw on our customized, curated tour. By the end of the day, Ugo had become a friend. If you are planning a trip to Rome, seeing the sights with Ugo is an absolute must!!!!

Ugo was Absolutely Amazing!!! He is so knowledgeable about the city of Rome and all the history behind each location visited. He is warm and hospitable and was an absolute pleasure spending the day with him. My husband and I saw everything we had hoped to see and more. Ugo is so kind and eager to help you maximize your time and see what’s important to you on the tour. He is so amazing. We have been to Rome before but wanted to learn a bit more behind the major sites. Alessandra was very informative and took time to tell us about the rich stories dating back to Roman times and modern events that shaped the city. She was an experienced guide with knowledge and character and expertly took us around the city to impart her knowledge in a fun and personable way. We are grateful for her expertise.

Such a great tour with Vania! She took us to very special sites that we wouldn’t find on our own. She helped bring an understanding of the history of the neighborhood and all of the amazing structures that make it so rare.

i have many food allergies and my husband does not like sweets, but these were not problems.

We ate amazing local foods and learned about the areas we visited. Vania was a great host.

Vanya was absolutely fabulous! I asked for hidden gems & off the beaten track, in line with my interests - & Vanya did a great job! Full of information, Vanya was fun, friendly & I had a wonderful 4 hours. Will definitely ask for Vanya, when I am back in Rome

Luca did an awesome job. He contacted us prior to the tour to find out our interests and not only did we visit several amazing sites, he was willing to take us off the beaten path to see areas many people would overlook. He had great knowledge of the city, area, and cultures. He was very personable and did not try to just keep us moving and finish like some other tour guides we had. He even stayed with us as long as we had questions and offered multiple recommendations for food and sites to see while we were visiting.

Luca was more than qualified to inform our family about the sights and history around Rome. We began the tour as a guide-client relationship, however, by the end it was more like family. Luca is extremely knowledgeable and was a pleasure to have as our guide! Thank you again! ~VonHoene family

We saw so many things that we would have missed without having Luca as our guide. Learning about all the little details and walking through the small cobblestone streets was a highlight. Luca Modesti is a superb guide. Not only incredibly knowledgeable but so personable as well. Luca was our guide for 3 hours in Rome. He asked us what we were interested in and proceeded to fulfill all our requests and then some! He even gave us a list of places to visit and favorite restaurants for the next couple of days while in Rome. I can’t say enough about our time with Luca. It was a highlight of our visit to Rome.

Our tour guide Indira did a wonderful job of showing us many unique views on our tour. The rose garden was great, history throughout the tour was very helpful.

Indira was very nice and created a tour that showed us exactly what we wanted to see. She answered all our questions using her vast knowledge of Roman history. She also gave us great suggestions on what to do during the rest of our trip.

My City Unscripted tour with Angelo was absolutely fantastic. He was so kind, incredibly knowledgeable and knew shortcuts for many of the lines (saved god knows how much time). He was dedicated to me having the most thorough and pleasant tour of Rome that could be had. Can’t recommend him highly enough,.

Angelo was the perfect tour guide - he asked us what we would like to see ahead of time and then tailored the tour to our interests. He was knowledgeable about Rome’s extensive history and had interesting stories to share about Rome’s details that we otherwise would never had learned about. We did the three-hour tour, which was great for a leisurely walk around a few of Rome’s neighborhoods, so we got to enjoy the atmosphere of the city. I cannot recommend this tour enough and if you can, try to get Angelo!! Grazie mille!

We had a 2 hour tour of the Vatican including the Basilica di San Pietro. We walked from the Campo di Fiori, stopping to learn about the many places we passed along the way. We were new to Rome so having a personal guide show us the ropes was really nice.

We enjoyed the tour and learned several little extra bits of information.

Olga went above and beyond on our wine tasting tour!!!!! We had full glasses of wine with appetizers and most importantly a loving conversation. The orange wine she wanted us to taste was unavoidable so she later found us a bottle and left with the concierge at our hotel. We were blessed to have her as our guide!!!

Olga is a sweetheart and I would recommend her highly.

Rome is such an amazing city, so much history and culture! I was the only member of our family who had been to Rome in the past. For our first morning in the city, I wanted a private walking tour to get everyone oriented and excited about the next 4 days we'd be spending there. Our highly professional and personable guide, Massimo Avella, did not disappoint. He arrived at our hotel early and greeted us enthusiastically. It was his sincere wish to show us his beloved city with our particular interests in mind -- and not just history and culture, but also restaurant and shopping recommendations. He kept us entertained and informed throughout our 3 hours together, and when we had to say goodbye, left us wishing it didn't have to end so soon! Thank you, Massimo!

Claudio is an amazing historian. He took the time to point out specific sites of historical importance and architecture. Claudio took us down beautiful floral lined streets and alley ways that we would otherwise of not seen. I would recommend him to anyone for a private tour of Rome.

Claudio was a very excellent and kind host who paid attention to my unique needs. He took me to boutiques that I never would have found by myself, helped me find pieces that work for me and gave advice for my style. We paused for beverages and for beautiful vistas of Rome. The pace was very good for me and we took care of everything on my list: gifts for family, something for the home, and many lovely things for me. I am not a great shopper. Prior to my afternoon with Claudio, I was not finding the kinds of shops that suited me. He gave me advice for any further shopping if I need it.

Claudio was a wonderful host who took me to the exact types of boutiques that I wanted. We covered everything on my list in shops I never would have found on my own. We paused for history and beautiful vistas while keeping a pace that was good for me. Claudio gave me good clothing advice and helped find sizes for me.

A custom experience that we have never had before. We filled the questionnaire almost in reverse, stating the places we had already seen and did not wish to see again. Nadia communicated often to be sure she could make a good plan for us. We saw things we didn't even know existed, enjoyed the inside of a basilica, and spent time in the Jewish Ghetto. One of our fellow travelers who tried to find a site on there own, without a guide never found it even though it was not far from our hotel. A guide is a worthwhile expense

There is so much to see that internet searches can't reveal. We very much enjoyed our walking tour of Rome with a local guide. We filled out a questionnaire before-hand, which helped shape the tour to best fit our interests, capabilities & limitations (being an "aging couple"). Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. She showed us things we never could have found on our own. I even "upgraded" my straw hat to a real one from a company making them since the mid 1800's! From pictures to purchases to palate, it was well worth the extra cost for a private tour. Group tours are adequate, but this was specifically tailored to our interests & capabilities.

Nadia is friendly and easy to connect with. She is open to questions and is quite knowledgable. Her English is excellent and she is full of great suggestions! She even went out of her way and time and met us in our hotel lobby rather than the original meeting point that is 30 min walk for us. Beautiful lady and very helpful!

Andrea, our guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He also considered what we were capable of and tailored the walk to accommodate our needs.

If we or any family should come back to Rome I would ask for him

Andrea was a fantastic tour guide! I would highly recommend him if you have an interest in the history of Rome and Christianity. I learned so much from my time with him. He is also warm, kind, and clearly loves his city and his vocation. My tour with Andrea has been the highlight of my trip so far!

We had a 3 hour walking tour around Rome. Our guide was Shiva and she was just amazing. Her knowledge about the history of Rome was so interesting. We had the best time and felt very comfortable the whole time. I had personally never been overseas before and Shiva was able to make the whole experience wonderful. Shiva was an excellent guide for are first day in Rome. She tailored our tour to exactly what we were looking for in quickly understanding Rome and all of its secrets. She was very knowledgeable on the culture, customs and art history of Rome. She gave us great advice on chain gelati vs quality gelati. She pointed out the difference between good local restaurants and shops, and tourist traps. She was very personable and friendly. We could not have asked for a more friendly welcome to Rome.

Today my husband and I had this tour with Shiva. We talked with her and her husband as we walked the streets of Rome. They showed us beautiful places, filled with history and also gave us a local view of a very touristy but charming city. Shiva made sure that the places we saw weren’t places we already saw or places we were going to see the following days. I highly recommend this tour. It felt like getting to know a city with your friends. I hope that if you decide to take this tour, you get as lucky as we did having Shiva as your tour guide. She and her husband were the most loving people we have met traveling through Europe!
