The Eiffel Tower is probably one of the most famous monuments in the world. The landmark of the city of Paris has already been photographed from countless angles. But I would also like to show you my 8 favorite Eiffel Tower photo spots in this article. 

Spot 1: Rue de l’Université

Rue de l'Université is a great place to take beautiful photos of the Eiffel Tower. This charming street, right next to the tower, has lovely cobblestones and pretty buildings that make a perfect backdrop. Its become a popular spot for photographers, especially since it’s now closed to cars. Even though more people know about it, it’s worth waiting for the perfect shot.

The best place for photos is where Rue de l'Université meets Avenue de la Bourdonnais. From here, the Eiffel Tower stands tall and unobstructed, close to the Champ de Mars, ensuring a dramatic and grand appearance in your photos.

Rue de l'Université is also great if you want a quieter spot. It’s ideal for solo travelers or couples looking for a less crowded place. You can wander the nearby side streets to find more hidden gems and use the buildings to frame your photos creatively. To avoid crowds and get the best light, try not to go at midday. Trocadéro is one of the best places to get amazing photos of the Eiffel Tower. Located directly across the Seine, it offers a perfect view of the iconic landmark. It's a popular spot for photographers, so you might need to be patient with the crowds. The best time to visit is early in the morning to avoid people and enjoy the beautiful sunrise light.

Trocadero provides a classic view of the Eiffel Tower. The most famous spot here used to be the Palais de Chaillot, but recent changes have limited access to the popular stairs. For a different angle, consider taking a Seine River cruise. You can take pictures of the Eiffel Tower from the boat, which offers a unique perspective. There are many cruise options available, from simple one-hour trips to evening cruises with dinner, perfect for capturing sunset photos.

For the best light and fewer people, visit Avenue Rapp and Square Rapp in the morning or early afternoon. Avoid rush hour to enjoy a more relaxed experience. This area is ideal for capturing the Eiffel Tower along with the elegant, ornate buildings that make Paris so picturesque.

Point 7: Le Recrutement Café/Rue Saint Dominique

Recrutement Café, located a few blocks northeast of the Eiffel Tower, offers a vibrant and colorful view of the tower, especially striking at sunset. From across the street, you can capture the cafe’s facade with the tower visible in the background. This cafe, with its pop of red, adds a charming touch to your photos, making it a must-visit spot for your next Paris trip. 

Rue Saint Dominique, located in the 7th arrondissement, is a lively street filled with shops, bakeries, cafes, and galleries, all exuding old-world Parisian charm. This street provides one of the best views of the Eiffel Tower, showcasing the tower's details while offering perspective on its grandeur. The surrounding shops and cafes make for a fantastic backdrop, perfect for a postcard-worthy photo.

For the best view, head towards the end of Rue Saint Dominique at the corner of Boulevard de la Tour-Maubourg. Here, the Eiffel Tower peeks over the tops of the cafes and boutiques, creating a classic Parisian street photography spot. Just be mindful not to block the road or footpath while capturing your perfect shot.

Point 8: Bir Hakeim Bridge

Bir-Hakeim Bridge offers a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower, especially from its walkways. This spot is known for its unique perspective, with the Eiffel Tower perfectly framed between the bridge’s arches.
Located just a short walk from the Eiffel Tower, Bir-Hakeim Bridge provides both a close-up and a dramatic view of the landmark.

The bridge's iron structure and the view of the Seine River create a striking photo opportunity. You can capture beautiful shots of the Eiffel Tower from various angles as you walk along the bridge. This bridge is also crossed by metro line 6, from which the attached picture was taken. Another great opportunity to take a photo. 

One of the best times to visit is early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid crowds and get the best lighting. The bridge is also a great place for a romantic photo or a scenic shot of the tower reflected in the water below.

Remember, Bir-Hakeim Bridge can get busy, so patience is key if you want to get the perfect photo without other people in the frame.
