What you’ll do

The locals in Liverpool eat, drink, breathe and sleep football - whether they’re Everton or Liverpool FC supporters.

You’ll join one of our footie-loving local Liverpool hosts, but don’t worry, you (probably) won’t be challenged to kick a football down the street or into a goal post before you’re allowed to enter a bar owned and visited by players both past and present.

Hear about all the matchday shenanigans from locals at the bars, visit landmarks like Anfield or the Lock-Up at Everton Park, and of course, stop for a warm from the over pie from a bakery which is a match-day institution.

It’s pretty much illegal not to try one. From Sandon, the pub where LFC was formed to the Dixie Dean statue to some history at Liverpool FC Museum, you’ll see the city through the eyes of its fans - an authentic Liverpudlian experience if ever we heard of one.

Dave knew everyone working there and a ton of the history behind LFC. Great tour of the stadium and the area.

Our guide, Pete, was excellent. We were on a cruise and he met us at the port. We walked to a great pub and saw a lot of sites of Liverpool along the way. We ubered from the pub to Anfield. Unfortunately, we couldn’t go inside because of the upcoming Taylor Swift concerts, but we walked around outside and went through the museum. Plan for rain, but that is just part of the experience. We had a great time despite the weather and lack of access to the inside of the stadium.

David is enthusiastic about his role as tour guide. He gave insight into how Liverpool ended up with 2 teams next to each other. He even explained why Liverpool has purple waste bins. DAVID IS AMAZING, very friendly.
