Nagoya Half Day Tour

Saki-san was our tour guide for our half day tour in Nagoya. She spoke fluent English, was a very friendly guide and we enjoyed her company! Saki was very flexible and reached out earlier prior to the actual tour to better understand our interest and places where we wanted to visit. In particular, her sharing on the history of the palace and Nagoya castle was very interesting. Lastly, Saki also introduced us to the Nagano old street and recommended a local sake bar / diner for our dinner. Thank you Saki! We highly recommend her if you are planning to tour Nagoya :)

Mia was an amazing tour guide. I’m actually not normally very excited to walk around old religious sites. But Mia made all of places just come to life. She offered fascinating insights into Japanese history and culture. I was emotionally moved by my time at these sites with her. She also took us to a great ramen place - it was the best meal we had during our time in Joan! I cannot recommend Mia more highly. She gave us such an amazing travel experience, one which I will never forget.

We had a fabulous tour with our guide Taka! He was very responsive as we communicated about our plans in advance of our trip. He picked us up promptly at our hotel the day of our tour, which was also our first full day in Japan. He showed us how to get Suica cards for the trains. We spent a gorgeous morning and afternoon in Asakusa, exploring Sensoji and the markets around it, the Sumida River Walk and Skytree. Taka was so friendly and shared so much about Japanese culture with us. At the end of the tour, we ate lunch at a restaurant on the river. Taka also kept in touch with us after the tour while we were still in Japan to give us additional tips. We highly recommend this tour and especially Taka! Thank you!

Shuto-san was an amazing guide and tailored the trip to my wish list. He let me set the pace, was highly knowledgeable and was a pleasure to spend three hours with, from shrines to bustling inner city to Senso-Ji temple. This was a great way to experience Tokyo and learn history and hot spots!

This was an excellent experience. I had the great honor of being guided by Bruce who has been living in Fukuoka for more than 20 years and has made a significant impact on the modern Yatai food scene. He was very professional and fun. He explained and showed me the true essence of Fukuoka which helped me further understand its local culture. I am a big history and culture person, so I had an absolutely stellar time. Highly recommend this tour and please ask for Bruce if you are interested in the Yatai!

Off the beaten path experiences

Fumiko did a really great job showing us some really fun highlights of Osaka for our first few hours in the city! We told her we really like off the beaten path places and good food and she definitely delivered! We snacked all afternoon and she showed us some amazing markets that we can’t wait to explore in depth! She also showed us some very unique local places and a beautiful small temple.
