My name is Karen and I was born and raised in Hong Kong, so I I know it inside out. This city is such a wonderful place where eastern culture meets that of the west. I enjoy being part of the energetic, fast paced, and fun city-life. I always pay attention to the changes happening here and spend my free time finding new restaurants for food, new places for shopping, and new things to do for fun. Many travellers visiting HK only touch the surface of the city, but I can offer you more. I’m an easy-going and patient problem solver with good listening skills. I’m also a certified make-up artist and skincare consultant, so all beauty-related questions are welcome. I enjoy showing the many sides of this city to people, and I'm sure I'll have a plan for your visit!

Because we had only 2,5 hours we thought that we could only see a little bit of Honkkong. But Karen Lee has shown us so much more with even the ferry to Kowloon and brought us to the trainstation right on time. She explaned us everything we saw. We walked approx 10km and loved every step of it. She was probably the best guide we could hope for.

CU have done it again! Paired us with a perfect guide for our 6-hour HK hidden gems tour. Karen was knowledgable, professional, friendly and patient. In a few hours, combining walking and the ultra-efficient MRT subway system, she showed us many fascinating places in Kowloon that we would never have seen on our own. Along the way we discussed history, religion, culture, healthcare, housing, food, population mix and demographics, and much more besides. Karen exceeded our expectations for a vegetarian lunch with a great restaurant boasting a superb view of the HK island waterfront. In summary, we couldn’t have been happier with our tour and guide.

Karen did an excellent job of using the subways to get us around Hong Kong to see the sights. Our only regret is we didn’t wear the proper shoes.
