One of my favourite things about this city is its rich cultural landscape, with numerous museums that often offer free admission. Montmartre is the area I visit the most because I love the quiet-village vibe that you get as soon as you get off the beaten path, and the many hidden gems and old windmills that remind us of the artistic bustle that took place there during the 19th century. There are also some quirky shops there. L'Île de la Cité is another favorite with many museums to visit about the history of Paris and so many beautiful sunsets to watch, and the island is a place full of history.
