Hi, I’m Balazs, your local host in the heart of Budapest! From the historical buildings that whisper stories of the past to the lively trams gliding alongside the Danube, Budapest never fails to amaze me. Whether it’s strolling through local markets, climbing up Buda Castle, or soaking in a different thermal bath each day, I love every moment spent exploring this city. Hungarian cuisine is one of my passions—there’s nothing quite like indulging in a strudel or a hearty local dish at a cozy spot. I also enjoy the city’s vibrant culture, from its iconic ruin pubs to hidden coffee houses, each with its unique charm. With a deep love for history, architecture, and Budapest’s unique vibe, I know the center and its neighborhoods like the back of my hand. Let’s discover the city’s treasures together and make your visit truly unforgettable!
Our guide, Balazs, was absolutely amazing! If I could rate this even higher than a ten, I would rate it a 20++++. He met us in the lobby of our hotel and we began our tour of Budapest. Personalization was perfect. We wanted our tour to include information about local culture and he delivered. When we ask ourselves "what are the best parts of our river cruise through Hungary, Austria and Germany" this personalized tour of Budapest always comes in at #1
