Hey there! I'm Shino, your go-to for all the wonders Fukuoka has to offer. There's something about this place, with its perfect blend of bustling city vibes and serene countryside, that just captivates me. And don't get me started on the food here—it's a culinary paradise that I swear by! My adventures often lead me to explore the latest exhibitions in museums, cozy up in quaint cafes, and indulge in the local dining scene that never ceases to amaze. I'm also your insider for the Kitakyushu area, where history meets modern charm, and the tranquil hot springs of Yufuin, a haven for relaxation. With a deep appreciation for Fukuoka's rich culture and history, I'm all about sharing the unique spots, from hidden coffee shops to vibrant bars and cafes, not to mention the incredible Japanese art scene. Let's dive into the heart of Fukuoka together, and I'll show you why this city's mix of tradition and modernity is truly unmatched.
Shino is a native and was able to share many things about Fukuoka that were very interesting to our family. Additionally she was very gracious and patient with our group. Highly recommended.

We had only a few hours in Fukuoka so arranged a private tour with Shino. What a great decision!! We met at the train station and went directly to the Reclining Buddha which was our priority. And it was impressive. Then we visited the Tocho-ji Temple with the amazing wooden Buddha, walked through Hakata old town and Canal City culminating in a delicious ramen lunch. Shino is the best guide, her English is wonderful and her knowledge of Fukuoka and Japan in general is impressive. Thank you Shino for a truly beautiful day.
