Hi there! I'm Sumire, your friendly local host in the amazing city of Fukuoka. I'm so grateful to call this city my home, and I love sharing its unique charm with visitors. Fukuoka is truly special, being the entrance of Asia and with its convenient location near the international airport, it's easy to access from the downtown area. Plus, the city is a perfect blend of historical buildings and modern city life, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. In my free time, I enjoy watching local theatre plays, exploring the delicious food scene, and discovering hidden gems around the city. I'm an expert when it comes to the streets and historic places in both Hakata and Tenjin, and I love showing visitors around these areas to showcase the charm of this fantastic city. I would love to take you on a tour and show you why I'm so passionate about Fukuoka. Sumire had a lot of interesting stories to tell not just about Fukuoka city & the places we went to, but also about herself. It was really nice getting to know her as an individual & we had good conversation over the course of the 3 hours we spent together. She was really genuine & sincere in getting to know me & sharing her recommendations around the city.
