Hi, I’m Armand, your local host in Nagasaki! What I love most about this beautiful city is its rich tapestry of history, culture, and breathtaking views. Nagasaki is a place where every corner tells a story, where traditions thrive, and where you can find some of the best spots to soak in its charm and beauty. I’m deeply connected to Nagasaki’s art scene and love exploring its cultural treasures. Whether it’s wandering through the Teramachi temples, enjoying the serene views from Kazagashira Park, or savoring what I believe to be the best ice cream in Japan, I’m always discovering something special to share. With a passion for history, photography, and sweets, I know Nagasaki’s best photo spots, hidden coffee gems, and the most engaging cultural activities. Let’s explore this unique city together and uncover its many wonders!

My reviews

Highly recommend touring with Armand. He consulted us about the itinerary and changed things up depending on how we were feeling. The restaurant that we ate lunch at was excellent. Armand spoke very good English. He was fun!

Armand our guide was great! He knew a lot about the area and the history. We went through neighborhoods that we would have never found on our own. He also accommodated us w a request to see Cherry Blossoms and took us to a park w over 400 trees. The best part was the tour was in areas w no crowds.

To really enjoy the local dishes you need to do so with someone who not only speaks the language but knows where the best spots are located. Armand was very accommodating to ensure we were within our comfort zone with adventurous dishes and completely unknown types of fish and condiments. We could never have done the Nagasaki food scene by ourselves and as an added bonus Armand give us a great history lesson and tour of the interesting historical part of the city. Well worth the time and money :)

Really enjoyed the picnic that Armand put together. He meet us at the pier and we spent the afternoon picking up all sorts of food. We headed to a park on top of a hill and had a picnic. Armand was personable and knowledgeable and we had a great time. Highly recommended this tour.
