I love Yokohama for its perfect blend of modern and traditional vibes, with an elegant port atmosphere that makes walking through the city a truly healing experience. I’m always on the lookout for new restaurants, cafes, and shops, as this city is constantly evolving, and there’s always something new to discover. The peaceful walks along the waterfront, with stunning views of the bay, are my favorite way to unwind. Having raised my daughters here, I know all the best spots for families and how locals truly enjoy this vibrant city.

We had a wonderful time doing a sushi-based tour with Madoka. We went to restaurants we'd never adventure to on our own. Her explanations and guidance will help us for the rest of our trip to Japan. She is a natural teacher who is excellent at explaining things to the clueless. We highly recommend it, and we hope to meet Madoka again.

Madoka, our fabulous guide in Yokohama, feels like a new friend. We had a wonderful exchange of cultures, educational practices & travel stories. She was as interested in our lives as we were in hers. Using the train, metro & 16k steps later we made the most of our time together. We highly recommend Madoka & give her a five star plus rating! Experiences such as this is why we travel.

Madoka provided us with a wonderful overview of beautiful Yokohama. We traveled 16k steps by foot AND used both the train & subway system. We highly recommend that you allow Madoka to tailor your tour time together to meet your needs. Madoka feels like a new friend!
