Truly a bespoke, custom experience that was absolutely fantastic. Liang, our guide became so much more: tutor, companion and yes, a friend, as he opened up our Singapore neighborhood to us and led us on a Singaporean local adventure. He shared his love of his city in a witty and disarmingly honest way giving us unique insights and tid-bits that allowed to see the city in a whole different way.

Meeting and spending time with Liang was a wonderful experience; one which gave us a much deeper and better understanding of the complexity and dynamism of Singapore but which also humanized statistics and data into fascinating conversation over delicious food. Liang tailored our time together to focus on the neighborhood we were staying in, Novena, which is not a heavily touristy sector, so he had his work cut out for him. He showed us various eateries and shops which connected us to our environment and allowed us to be “Singaporean” for a brief period. A truly wonderful experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We learned so much about Singapore and we enjoyed touring Chinatown and eating the local foods. Liang was so accommodating and knowledgeable.
