Hi there! My name is Jonathan, and I am a local host in Barcelona. I love everything about this vibrant city, but what I appreciate most is the fact that you can always find somewhere to enjoy a good meal until midnight - it's a true foodie's paradise! One of my favorite areas in Barcelona is the Gothic Quarter. Its winding streets and stunning architecture make it the perfect place to explore and get lost in. And speaking of food, I'm a huge fan of tapas and gin & tonics, so I know all the best spots to indulge in these local favorites. But don't worry; I'm not limited to just one area of Barcelona - I know most neighborhoods really well, basically the whole city! I can take you to all the main areas where tourists want to see Gaudi's works, including the Gothic and Modernista Eixample neighborhoods. We saw so much of Barcelona and learned quite a bit of history. Jonathan was a great tour guide, and he answered so many of our questions with enthusiasm! I would definitely recommend this tour! Wear comfortable shoes!

My family and I had a great time on this tour with Jonathan. We have done many different city walking tours and this one was more like ‘walking around with a local friend’ than a specific scheduled tour. Johnathan shared a lot of information of different architecture, restaurants, and back alley ways that we would have likely not ventured down on our own (not due to safety, but because we would have likely never found them!). Thanks a lot for the great tour and for making our time in Barcelona a memorable one.

Jonathan was great , reached out in advance to confirm what we were looking for and met us at our hotel. We had the chance to walk around the city a little and get a feel for Barcelona before heading to dinner. At dinner Jonathan helped order our tapas and explained the local customs …. Felt like we were visiting a friend in Barcelona.
