Mr. Tom’s tour was fantastic. His personality was refreshing, he noted that we wanted to see small details of Bangkok that most tourists don’t see, and he was so fun to get to chat with. It was truly a delight to spend the day learning from him.

We spent with my family (2 adults, 2 youngsters in their 20s) a very interesting half-day in Bangkok. Our guide, Tom, is a great guy, well-prepared and shares a lot of information which you don’t find in travel books. He picked up us from the hotel and went back with us at the end of the tour. The tour lasted almost 6 hours (but you need to consider the time you lose in traffic, ~1.5h in our case from and back to the hotel) and we visited Grand Palace (including Emerald Buddha), Wat Pho (temple of Reclining Buddha) and ended with a tour on a long boat on the canals of Bangkok (during which you can observe the slum way of life). You can also admire the gorgeous Wat Arun (the temple of dawn) from the bank of the river Chao Phraya.
