What I love most about Kyoto is that it embodies Japanese culture in its truest form. It's a city that effortlessly embraces tradition while embracing new experiences. Exploring the city by bike is my passion, as it allows me to discover new cafes, restaurants, and shops that Kyoto is so great at bringing in. I also find peace in nature, whether it's wandering through temple gardens or hiking in the mountains. Being a resident of Kyoto, I know the city like the back of my hand. My daughter and I booked a Kyoto walking food tour with City Unscripted. We exchanged some emails with our guide Hanna to arrange meeting point and what we would be doing - a great start. Hanna was there waiting. The next 3 hours went in a flash. Hanna is a superb guide. Her English is excellent and a bubbly, fun person to be with. Her knowledge was fantastic. Highly recommend City Unscripted and Hanna.

My husband and I loved Hannah as a guide. She was so friendly and her English was well developed. It was like spending time with a friend. She has a vast knowledge of history and was able to take us to places that we would find the most interesting. I would recommend her to anyone.

Hanna is a wonderful guide and we really enjoyed our city tour in Kyoto with her. She explained each and every relevant thing to us and created the whole itinerary as per our need and pace. My Son enjoyed having local lunch with her. Thanks to her for our memorable Kyoto City tour.
