Hello, my name is Kenta Suzuki. I was born in Osaka but grew up for most of my life in San Francisco. I have a background in the arts (photography and music) and can take memorable photos for clients during tours and guide the city through the eyes of a photographer. With my multicultural background, I will be able to guide tours through the eyes of both a Japanese local as well as someone from the outside. I enjoy learning about my own culture and other cultures as well and would love to be able to assist in journeys that allow a mutual understanding of our cultures.
My family and I recently had the pleasure of taking a walking tour in Kyoto with our guide Kenta Suzuki. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day with Kenta as he had an impressive depth of knowledge of the places we visited. Well organised with clear friendly communication, Kenta is like a friend to us rather than a guide. Overall, the tour with Kenta exceeded our expectations which made our experience memorable and enjoyable.

We saw so many places and learned a lot. The pace was perfect and we covered a lot of ground. He is an exceptionally skilled guide and we feel lucky to have toured with him.

Kenya was wonderful. Grew up in the US so his English was perfect! He was masterful with transit. We saw so much in a short time. He was very attentive to our needs, as my husband and I are older, and slowed his pace when we started getting tired. He shared so much knowledge of Kyoto with us and mixed it with simply enjoying the day. Highly recommend, just make sure you are ready to walk many, many Kilometers.
